Miniature Zelda OoT Final Battle MOC

I am always running out of room for LEGO, especially after assembling the new BDP Sushi Restaurant (an amazing set!).

To make some room, I took apart the Zelda Ocarina of Time Final Battle set and used the pieces to build this miniaturized version featuring all three minifigures + Navi.

Snowdrift Stable MOC

This is my latest castle MOC, Snowdrift Stable! It uses only pieces currently available on Pick-A-Brick (Bricks and Pieces?).

The Snowdrift Stable is the last stop along the Narrow Way, which stretches north past the King's domain and into the mountains beyond. The princess and her escort are headed north on a harrowing mission and must find a place for her prized mare to rest. The young stablemaster has always wanted to meet a princess, but his stablehand might accidentally ruin the encounter. Unbeknownst to both of them, someone may try to swap the princess’s mare for another horse! Will the swap happen, or will it be foiled?

Model Features

  • Removable floor, hayloft, and roof reveal a furnished interior, including a bed, chairs, a table, and a counting desk.
  • Reveal who has taken up residence in the stable's old doghouse.
  • Is there a rat problem in the hayloft?

Model Dimensions

  • Width: 8.3 inches, 21 cm
  • Length: 8.3 inches, 21 cm
  • Height: 9.6 inches, 24.5 cm

31109 Pirate Ship vs 31387 Iconic Pirate Ship!

I love both of these! I think the new one, though smaller, looks better and is more swooshable. I'm excited to see if anyone makes an alternate build combining these or using 2x of 31387!

Explore Dolmenwood - Live 3D Hex Map

I just released an update to my free Referee tool called Explore Dolmenwood (formerly Optical Dolmenwood). Explore Dolmenwood is a live tracker of your party's progress through the wood and gives you text-based descriptions of visual surroundings from different vantage heights. The new update adds several new features:

  • Rivers, roads, lakes, and waypoints are shown on the live isometric map
  • A world map that shows the entirety of the Dolmenwood, just click on it to enter a hex
  • Export a screenshot of your isometric hex map using the new Capture button
  • Toggle Fog, Player, or 2D views
  • Add your own custom hex entries as you add modules and your own adventures to the map
  • Track, edit, and display on the map your players' journeys through the Dolmenwood using the new Journeys feature!

Let me know if you have any feedback or feature suggestions!

[Tool] Dolmenwood Inventory

This Dolmenwood Inventory manager allows Referees and Players to build their character, horse, and vehicle inventories using either slots or coins as the weight system. I was inspired by Beau Rancourt's The Sieve, which has an inventory manager with the same base functionality as this web app, but isn't specific for Dolmenwood. I designed this app to have party grouping and the Dolmenwood items automatically included. As always, feel free to share any bugs you experience and suggest features!

If you would like to use this with a password and your players able to edit it as well, you can plug it into an AI and it can set up the backend for you. I didn't choose to do that because I don't want my players using their phones at the table for inventory management, but some tables may want that!

I built a tool for referees to track the calendar days of Dolmenwood that includes feast days, pluritine observances, saintly miracles, moon phases, sunrise/set times, weather, and unseasons. The calendar is also designed so you can pair a real world date with a date in Dolmenwood, which is great for open tables using 1:1 date-advancement (one day in the real world is one day in Dolmenwood). You can use arrow keys to go forward and backward.

The intent is for this tool to optionally be player-facing. You can keep your players guessing on the weather and unseasons on the calendar by randomizing the seed at the bottom of the page. If you trend towards giving your players more information, you can create a single weather seed that you use consistently and your players can type this seed into the bottom of the generator to load their versions of the calendar.

Please give it a try and let me know if you have suggestions or concerns! As a disclaimer, I did use Claude Sonnet to convert the calendar to HTML, as I do not have a background in programming.
