I guess I'm just wondering if there's anything notable that I'm missing. I'm not showing her Heathers or Donnie Darko.

I mean I suppose I could just rework the character into a pistoleer, but I was going full tinker with this guy and now I'm level 20. Funnier still that this was my first time finding the location, getting me the achievement lol.

Seems like I've been running into this issue every single time (on 4 different platforms at this point, including one I tried creating myself through Lovable), but never worse than with Jenova. I haven't even gotten out of the character sheets stage, because new hallucinations or image quality degradations keep popping up, over and over.

Or I guess I should say this: does anyone have any tips or techniques to prevent it from happening, or to be more effective in avoiding/mitigating drift or visual quality decay? Or is it just pointless to fight it?

Edit: Just thought I should add, Jenova has explicitly been telling me that it's been keeping visual anchors tight, but I can very clearly see that that is not the case. Image quality is definitely degrading over time and things are getting lost or garbled.

Every Mara-dad and Mara-mom with 12 kids and 4 full-time jobs is out enjoying chili dogs, that's why Marathon has a fraction of the players of Rust, another super-sweaty game that's been out for like 10 years.

I dunno, just figured I'd start it since there hasn't been a consistent one so far.

Yeah yeah, I know things with Destiny 2 had already been shitty for years. And obviously Bungo couldn't keep a known sex pest as their game director for Marathon. But everything that is terrible about Marathon came from him, and now it seems really likely Bungie will be sold for parts after Marathon is shut down.

So all I can say is, hiring him as the new game director is probably what killed Marathon. And if Marathon's failure results in the demise of Bungie, it will end up being the single worst decision the company had ever made.

I swear to Resheph, I have cured fickle gill on at least a half dozen body parts, in just my recent run from last night. Yet it keeps coming back!

How do I get rid of it for good?

I'm sure there are games out there with high-quality stories and plenty of cinematic moments to go around. But I have yet to encounter a game with the quality of writing present in Qud.
