Speak Easy - Opinion

PS: Sorry, correction: game is “Speakeasy” of course.

Hi Everyone, I liked the title and already wanted to get a copy but learned that there is no Player vs Player interaction in a sense of Mobs Wars. I thought that I can “attack” opponents properties and I can’t. And considering the Theme - I’m not sure how it makes game better (if not worse).

For those who like the game - how do you see it? And in general what is the “sold” factor for you in this game in general?

For those who don’t like - was this passive approach to competitive to the death nature of criminal wars a factor for you?

Thank you all

Oath / Imperial “Struggles” :)

Hi Everyone. We have tried Oath finally and we liked the game (kind of) but all this Citizenship stuff is totally (totally) confusing to me.

Maybe someone can unpack it a bit for me? Would appreciate it.

The thing is I don’t understand why on Earth Citizen can (allowed) attack another Citizen / Chancellor (yes, I know that he can’t attack Pawn) but still. Considering that it’s written that in case of “war” Imperial players can help each other and use the same resources battle plans - I don’t see how it all fit in situation when there is confrontation in Empire. “Specific battle plan can’t be use by multiple players” but it WILL be multiple players who CAN use the same battle plan in this situation (especially if it’s universal plan that fit for attack / defend both).

How to understand / present / simplify (?) it more structurally and how to make it so that it makes sense finally and not so confusing.

My view is if you are Ally - you are Ally. Before attacking your “friend” you have to give up on Citizenship or automatically be Exiled if you do the betrayal. Also this “if you are Citizen attacking Chancellor / Citizen you are not Imperial player during this Campaign” - then why this all hassle in the first place? Citizen attacks another Citizen and another Citizen can join as Ally (whatever it means) but the person you want to help “is not Imperial for campaign” though he is Imperial and so on and so on.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Oath / Banners (Favor and Secret) taken in campaign.

Hi Everyone, could someone clarify - when you target and win banners: “People Favor” and “Darkest Secret” what is exactly the sequence of actions? Where it’s described?

I understand that 2 secrets / 2 favors are burned (but at least one should stay) and all what remains (secrets/favors) go to winner. In case of favor banner it flips to mob site (by the way if it’s already on mobs site?)

Is it correct understanding? Thx

P.S. Bonus question :) If Scepter is counted as relic to related win conditions? Thx

Logic in series

Dear All, I have watched Anime with my son (he recommended it and I liked the plot). We haven’t finished it but we close to the end. In the beginning I was following logic of events and motivations and actions of characters made sense to me. Now, in the middle of second “season” I’m lost. I’m curious - if this series / adaptation is solid in terms of rules and logic behind this universe? And if I read Manga and 13 volume with rules all what is happening will get in order :)? If there is an order and logic at all? :) Or there are indeed errors ans inconsistencies? I have a feeling that creators overcomplicated otherwise really great idea and now I watch last episodes just to complete the task. Kind of. But I bought manga and want to “investigate” it one more time in a hope that it adds up at the end. But probably it’s already confirmed that series plot got confused or something and so on.

And since I’m here already: regardless of your expertise about above - why no one tried to make board/video game based on this plot? It’d be just really great deduction entertainment as I see it.

Thank you all.

Oath / Power Card Database

Dear All, I’m learning to teach Oath (Ledergames) and I see that there is reference in “The Law of Oath” book to “detailed power database” when it comes to cards powers. When I go to the Ledergames website I don’t see any. Do you know if such resource exists now? Thank you!

Prime Minister GMT Games / 3 Players

Hi Everyone, if someone tried the title with 3 Players? Without any clockworks, etc. Is it OK this way? Because there are two parties and I know that each player follows his Agenda even if he is on board with someone else on the same party, but if this set up 2 vs 1 in terms of Parties give some advantages to 2 players vs 1 right away? Thx

Dear All, can someone explain to me GMT P500 Shipping prices. I've been looking at P500 for some time, but shipping costs are not really clear for me (I'm in Germany). What I see when I add a game in the cart is:

- EU/UK Non-P-500 CUST PAYS VAT and FEEs UPS Worldwide Expedited $0.00 (ESTIMATED SHIPPING $73.00)

- Europe Non-P-500 CUST Pays VATS & Fees Postal Priority Air $0.00 (ESTIMATED SHIPPING $99.00)

- EU/UK Friendly DIRECT P500 Orders VAT PREPAID $0.00 (ESTIMATED SHIPPING $45.00)

So, let say I add a game that cost 69$

- ( $69.00 ) - Will be charged at a later time, along with shipping charge and any applicable sales tax.

So, when it will be charged - it will be 69 + 45 (let's say I select Friendly Direct) + Some Additional Fees?

So, there is no estimation on fees / taxes?

And what is the difference between these 3 shipping options?

Thank you!

Hi Everyone, I’m preparing for teaching the game and can’t understand two things (at least for now it’s two :)

  1. Can I at any time of my turn remove my warbands from sites I rule increasing my warbands pool on my board?

  2. When citizenship is granted - all warbands of new citizen will get purple, but… citizenship can be revoked and in this case “new” exile should change war-bands to his color again but I don’t understand how at this point you can distinguish chancellors and citizens warbands? They all are shared.

Thank you,

Sergey
