How do you deal with the acne?

I recently had some bloodwork done and my androgens were a lot higher than normal, and some other stuff was off that points to pcos. where I live there’s only 1 building for endocrinology, so I have to wait another month before I can access any sort of hormonal treatments. (I am aware that in order to fully fix hormonal acne, you need to target the root cause which is balancing hormones.) One of my biggest symptoms likely related to elevated testosterone (when my testosterone levels were normal, I did not experience any acne) is I’ve been breaking out like crazy, my face has been oilier than normal and my nose pores and texture have been getting worse. What products or tips could help manage it know I have to wait a bit to access treatment?

Should I get testing to see if I’m intersex?

Not self diagnosing, or asking Reddit to diagnose me. I’m writing this because I’ve been pondering about it for a few days and wonder if I could get any insight from those who maybe had similar experiences. I started “puberty” at 9 years old, I remember coming home after playing all day with sweaty underarms, very small amounts of armpits hair and pubic hair, but I was still the same size, but I already had size 8 women’s feet and adult sized hands, and I had a full bush by the time I was in 4th grade. I started my period when I was 10 years old, I went from 4’7 to 4’9, then I didn’t get it for another 5 months then I grew to 4’10 then when I was 13 grew to 4’11, then 14 5’0, then 15 5’2, I didn’t reach my adult height until I was 16. to this day I notice I really only get my period every 3-5 months. I was tested for precocious puberty they looked at my pituitary gland and everything but literally everything came back normal. I got my period last month but it only lasted a day, my period usually are not longer than 3 days. I also noticed my arms and feet seem somewhat large compared to my height. I never bothered to check my anatomy, but I have never been able fit a tampon in and even if I’m wet I can’t go past 1/4 of my finger. I get random hives, crazy stretch marks, and a day after I get my period it’s like black webs come out. I also have been randomly developing nipple hair. My boobs have not grown since I was 9. My insulin came back normal but my hemoglobin was spiking. Anytime I try to explain this to a gynecologist or female oriented space I’m just met with shame and looked at like a freak.

Can it cause you to have a slow, stretched out puberty?

One of the symptoms that really stand out to me is early puberty, I am one of the earliest people in my family to start, i showed signs at 9 and started my period at 10, however I did not finally reach my adult height until 16… I never really had a growth spurt height wise. It’s like my hands and feet got really big super quickly, but I still kept growing an inch each year, it did not stop until I was 16. I would’ve grown roughly 7 inches after getting my period, and I hear usually girls without ncah grow 1-3 inches after starting their period, while it says with ncah it typically causes you to stop growing after menstruation due to the androgen surge. Why did I keep growing continuously? I am not very tall, but i was very short when I started my period and im suprised I was even able to reach average height.

trigen generic concerta

I feel like some days it works and some days it doesn’t… I’m on 27mg trigen labs generic concerta and sometimes it lasts basically all day and feels great, sometimes I feel great for only 4 hours, then it randomly wears off, sometimes I feel literally nothing at all, and sometimes I feel anxious and like my adhd is worse on it. Ive been on it for a month, I’ve tried everything, drinking 2 liters of water daily, eating a bunch of protein, getting 10 hours of sleep, but it just feels so on and off. Is it a dose issue or brand issue? has anyone else felt this way on the trigen generics?

Is trigen labs generic concerta supposed to be this wonky?

I feel like some days it works and some days it doesn’t… I’m on 27mg and sometimes it lasts basically all day and feels great, sometimes I feel great for only 4 hours, then it randomly wears off, sometimes I feel literally nothing at all, and sometimes I feel anxious and like my adhd is worse on it. Ive been on it for a month, I’ve tried everything, drinking 2 liters of water daily, eating a bunch of protein, getting 10 hours of sleep, but it just feels so on and off. I’m switching to brand name but should I go up to 36mg or stay 27? Is it a dose issue or no? If the dose wasn’t too low surely I wouldn’t have days where it actually helped me.. has anyone else felt this way on the trigen generics?
