I've been injecting air
EDITED TO ADD: vial was turned upside down before drawing up liquid. It was the last bit left in the bottle. The moral of this story is to wear your reading glasses to make sure you can see the tip of the needle reaching the fluid.

I've been losing weight pretty consistently, down 10-12 lbs. after 6 shots but I seemed to have hit a stall this week. I'll chalk it up to the antibiotics I had to take for 7 days. Come to think of it, I haven't been nauseous or had to take any Miralax for a while. I guess my body is adjusting to the medicati...
Wait a minute. The vial isn't empty. How full is this syringe? I better check it for air bubbles...tap, tap. Hmm, it looks ok. *Injects* That didn't sting this time, not even a little bit.
At this point, the light bulb turns on and I decide to put on my reading glasses. I check the syringe for any liquid residue. Nothing. I get a fresh needle, wipe and insert it into the vial. Peering closely, I see the needle peeking over the rim where no liquid can reach. Doh!! My needle was bone dry maybe for 2 weeks' worth of injections. Ey yi yi.
I've been so worried about cleaning and sticking the needle in my skin properly but I didn't lay eyes on the needle while it was in the vial. From now on, I'm wearing my reading glasses!
