Is stinger almost as quick off the line without the launch control as it is with it?

Edit: I forgot to mention I’m looking at the 3.3t AWD one for the quicker speed from a dig.

I want to get a quicker car from a dig than my current one (2is Lexus IS 350, which can do 0-60 in 5.3 seconds in ideal conditions) but I don’t want to get one that has to rev out to high rpms just to get up to speed like most V8’s do. I would mostly drive this car in urban/suburban settings where the speed limit would likely be between 35 mph and 45 mph. I like the occasional red light race which would be from red light to red light, but I would need a car that can get up to 35 or 45 mph quickly with minimal lag.

Is this a good car for that without having to use launch control? I know that the times online for 0-60 are probably with the use of launch control, so would the times without using it be significantly slower or just slightly slower in your experience? Also, how does it feel in terms of lag when daily driving it?

Accidentally put regular gas in 2is350. Drive it “slow” until the tank is empty?

I was tired after a 6 hour drive and needed to get gas, and it’s not for sure, but I’m pretty sure I put regular gas in my 2010 is 350 on accident. I had put gas in my other car (a Camry) earlier so I put regular in that one. I was on auto pilot, so I don’t know for certain, but I’m 75% sure I grabbed the regular one. I usually don’t get the receipt so I couldn’t check to make sure. If i did, this would be my first time doing this since I’ve had the car, which has been almost a year. I only filled it about 3/4 of the way, so I ended up filling the rest of it with premium to increase octane slightly.

I didn’t realize it until after I started driving out of the gas station and wanted to drive it spiritedly, and once I tried to go above 3.5k rpm the car tended to “hesitate” a bit (almost felt like I couldnt use its full power.). I’ve looked up different answers online but most people say it’s okay as long as you don’t drive it hard. Does hard mean not racing people (over 5k rpm), taking it to the track, or not even above 3k rpm? I’ve been driving it like a grandma at only 1.5k to 2k rpm today and it’s hard to do that when the car wants to go faster and everyone around you is also driving fast on a nice day. I know im overthinking this, but I also don’t want to “damage” the car, even though the chances of that happening from doing this once is very unlikely.

Also, should I wait til it’s halfway to put more premium in it or just wait until it’s almost completely empty to do that?

Do m235i’s usually get leaks pretty “often” after about 60k miles?

I’ve seen a few posts where people ask if they should get a 70k mile m235i or a 100k mile m240i and some commented that at that mileage they should expect a leak for sure within the next 10k miles or less, even if the car was taken care of. I understand being prepared for worst case scenarios, but I keep hearing other people talking about BMW’s and leaks a lot lately. I know they aren’t a Toyota, but before I’ve read they are very reliable and many have said they don’t have many issues if take care of.

So now I’m curious to hear from owners. Are leaks something that occur about every 5k-10k miles even after you fix a first leak? Or does it occur once and then after it’s fixed it usually doesn’t occur for a longer time, if at all? Does it occur usually once in higher mileage or is it common to get leaks even at just 45k miles? Just wanting to get an idea of what to expect if I buy a used m235i. If I get one I would probably buy one at between 40k and 70k miles

To compare, I’m also cross shopping a Lexus ISF and as far as I’m aware, they leak too, but after you fix the problem (the Valley Plate leak) it is usually good for the rest of its life, or at least for a very very long time. Is this not the case with these cars too, or is it something that as an owner you have to constantly deal with even if well maintained?
