A japanese novel which is filled with the feeling of something being "wrong". Creepy. It would be better if its from the 1980s to 2000s

Is the guy i am interested in a red flag?

I(19F) met this older guy(25M) when i was waiting outside my workplace at around 9pm, looking for an auto. Since 1 week 2-3 guys have been trying to get my number and my name, they are local vendors near the office (one of them is a momos vala😭).

So these dudes come to me again and ask if i want a lift. I refuse and move away but they follow me. A guy comes on a bike and asks me whats happening. I told him they are disturbing me. He asks them to leave and they do. This dude then asks if he could give me a lift. I refuse and tell him that i have ordered a cab. He waits by me till the cab comes and then leaves.

The next day this guy's bike passes by me and he stops when he sees me and offers a ride. I accept this time (i was 1%interested in him). After that day it has become a routine and i have started inviting him over to my place. He refused the first few times but these days he comes over a lot. Im very interested in him and i think he may be too, why else would he be willing to hang out with me every other day. Now, are these red flags and should i be careful?

1. He doesnt have frnds and says his life is uneventful. So its mostly me talking and him listening and giving comments here and there. He said he doesnt talk to many ppl, only work related.

2. He doesnt speak much, just stares at me very intensely whenever im speaking.

3. I asked abt past relationships indirectly and he said he tried to do casuals but did not find it interesting and just gave up.

4. I asled abt his family he said he doesnt have any(??). When i tried to probe further, he said they died(??) And when i asked how, he gave a long pause and said "some accident". He appeared very triggered by the topic so i let it go.

5.He appeared shocked when i told him im 19, he said "u look atleast 23". I told him it may be due to my glasses and make up. When he saw me bare faced, he said "yeah, u could pass for a 10th grader on some days." My frnd thinks it was a weird comment.

6. I went to his house once, it was quite big but it was not well lived? I mean one single bed, unfinished kitchen, no TV, one cupboard, thats it. I asked him abt it, he said he doesnt feel the need to do more. I dont think hes broke cuz he has a bike plus an expensive car and he mentioned his package being more than 20LPA.

7. A male coworker of mine saw this dude waiting for me on his bike and asked him if he was here to see me. My crush replies yes. The coworker then asks "are u two together? She never told me abt u, we are very close". To this my guy replies" kaun hai be tu"

My coworker later told me all this and said he was very rude.

8. He clutched his pearls when i told him im going late night clubbing with a frnd for the first time ever. He said its unsafe and tried to persuade me not to go. When i insisted he said he would picl me up and drop me too. Also said he would call once.

9. He once came over when my bestie was already there. I went in the kitchen to get them tea. My bestie left after like 10 minutes. But later she told me that had tried to talk to him and he gave stiff, mechanical(?) One word answers only and was making very intense eye contact. She also complimented him on his height and he just nodded and stared at windows and curtains😭. My frnd said his whole vibe was off-ish

What do u guys think? Minus the age gap, is he weird? Should i keep my distance?
