The Great Space Coaster

The Great Space Coaster

How many of you have this song seared in your memory banks? In the background you can hear what is likely someone hitting a guy-wire with a wrench, the same technique used by Ben Burt to create the laser sounds in Star Wars. And we can’t forget Gary Gnu!

Miracle Mile (1988)

One of my favorite 80s thrillers, and very underrated. It’s also notable that the two lead actors got married in 2021, after reuniting at an event in 2019. Some sad stories do have happy endings.

She was an icon of 80s TV, from The Fall Guy to Night Court, she was charismatic, hilarious, and also a drop dead gorgeous model. It’s a shame the Night Court cast passed so young. She was always a favorite and it was great to see her and Harry get a happy ending on 30 Rock. ♥️
