Mr. Men Little Miss
‘Mr. Men Little Miss’ is my latest LEGO Ideas - Product Idea. These books, first published in 1971, have been enjoyed by readers of all ages worldwide.
I adore their unapologetic character traits, bold colours, unique silhouettes, and cute storytelling, all infused with quintessential British humour.
This Lego set includes 13 buildable and playable characters, some of my childhood favourites (Mr. Tickle) and others I’ve recently discovered (Little Miss Birthday).
All thumbs up, comments, shares, and reposts gratefully appreciated.

Multiplayer VR gaussian splat sharing alternative
Hey everyone,

My wife and I used to love exploring real-world spaces together using Meta Hyperscape. But now that Meta has stripped out the multiplayer features and made it strictly single-player, I had to find a workaround.

I wanted to keep sharing my hiking trips with her at a true 1:1 human scale, so I figured out a way to bring my outdoor adventures straight into VRChat instead.

The Workflow:

The Drone: I use an autonomous drone to run a slow, 360-degree orbit over the peak. It catches the scenery from top-down angles you completely miss with a phone, which eliminates "holes" or blind spots in the final scan.

The Processing: I upload the raw drone video into Luma AI to train the scene, which outputs the 3D Gaussian Splat file.
The VR Pipeline: I drop that file into Unity using a VRChat-compatible plugin, set up the spawn point, and upload it as a private world.

The end result is what you see in our in-game selfies! It is incredibly cool to have our avatars standing together inside a photorealistic mountain memory again. Albeit the splats are pretty pixelated in my examples( we were moving on the captured video)

If anyone else is trying to replicate their old Hyperscape sharing workflow, feel free to ask about the drone paths or how I set it up!

I am creating the first chapter pages of The Hobbit as a Bifolio, like lost leaves of an old manuscript. Salvaged and framed to be admired. This was the final draught , The final piece will be done on calf skin and all done by hand. Now it's a journey begins!

Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000 (1999)
1999 is widely considered to be a remarkable year in terms of film. Blair Witch Project, American Pie, American Beauty, The Matrix, and many, many more genre defining films were released that year.
But for whatever reason, no one ever talks about “Chuck E Cheese in the Galaxy 5000”: the first and only feature film starring Chuck and his gang. The movie was written by a Dragonball Z writer and directed by someone who lists this as their ONLY credit. Obviously they directed CECITG5000 and realized they shouldn’t even bother anymore after; they had achieved their life’s work.
The film is a fever dream wrapped in an acid trip and it clocks in at only one hour in length but feels like at least two. Oh, and it’s a musical.
The plot is that Pasqually the Italian Chef gets the idea to race in the Galaxy 5000 to raise money so his friend Charlie Rocket can save his uncle’s farm. And when they get there they find out they’re competing against two meathead racers and a mad scientist who makes performance enhancing drugs out of liquified chicken.
The graphics look, at first, understandably bad until you remember that Toy Story came out four years earlier. Obviously they wouldn’t have had the same budget or talent at their disposal, but everything looks like a bad cut scene from a 90s PC game.
The full film is up on YouTube if you dare to watch it. Sadly there’s no high quality rips out there because no one ever thought to preserve it.
Humphrey Bogart in the part that made him famous: as the ruthless gangsters in The Petrified forest, 1935, Warner Brothers Bogart is in the center.
He’s still alive!
I once read that in the perspective of a dog, us humans are like elves to them. Can you imagine a group of elves thousands of years old taking a picture with you. Just because your great great great great grandfather played baseball with them when they were children. That's a fun perspective lol.
