I’m sure this will cause some controversy, but recently I’ve just felt that a lot of these Swiss watches lack any personality - incredibly well built (of course), but I just can’t connect to them. And, after trying a Formex and a Christopher Ward, I’ve finally landed on this, and it cost me a fraction of the price… £300 and I’m in love with it. It feels great and looks fantastic, paired with the Hexad strap. So much soul and personality at an affordable price.

Good evening everyone! Foreword, I’m very inexperienced with cards so please be kind! I stumbled upon this car from an old binder of mine and looked it up. Listings on eBay are going for over £1k. I don’t know if it’s actually worth that and I have no idea if it’s real (I suspect not), but I don’t know what to look for etc. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello everyone, I’ve found this Sharp Edged Series GMT 42mm SPB217J1, but unfortunately it doesn’t come with box or papers. I think it’s beautiful but I don’t have any experience with these watches, so I have no idea if it’s authentic or not. Please excuse my ignorance and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My partner and I made Mango (his name) a sombrero coconut hide with a wooden bridge and it’s been sat there vacant for about 3 months. We were giving up on the idea of him using it, given he preferred his - what seems incredibly uncomfortable - log hide. However, yesterday we found him sat in it and he hasn’t left since! It’s a miracle.

Good afternoon, I recently received this Laco Bielefeld 42mm from eBay, and I immediately submitted a return - It had taken ages to arrive and I’ve since found something else. Strangely, the seller refunded me the full amount before I even had a chance to return the item.

That said, something about it just feels off to me. I’ve owned a Augsburg and I seem to remember it feeling better made. The watch also didn’t come with the red warranty card; the strap doesn’t say Made in Germany and there’s no serial number on the watch anywhere.

I know fakes aren’t common, but what do you think?
