I’m going to France on holiday and we are going to be staying in hostels, however one has only female and male dorms. I’ve changed my name legally but haven’t updated my passport so still says a v feminine name+ F on it. I pass fully. I had to book either male or female dorm soon and don’t know which one, and on check in you have to provide your passport as a form of ID. no other hostel is available in the location. any advice/ experience would be useful. it’s a HI youth hostel so if you know of their policy lmk.

Legally changed my name and I have sent off an application for a new drivers license 2 weeks ago (how long does it usually take to arrive?) and I’m a bit stuck on who else I need to change it with

im 17 and I have a job. do I need to let my car insurance know? do I need to tell anyone other than my boss in terms of employment (I don’t pay tax yet). also registering to vote has me a bit stuck lol. can only change my banks once my license come sback

any help would be appreciated!
