Latigo Tan compared to Ractrack London Tan

I have a pair of Latigo Tan boots in production right now. I also ordered some Racetrack London Tan boots some time ago that are waiting to enter production. The builds are rather similar and I’m wondering if this leather is different enough or if I should swap the racetrack with a different leather. Maybe a DS Buck Brown since I don’t own any DS. Opinions would be most welcome!

Multi-tool in knife pocket?

Considering adding a knife pocket to my next build, but curious if I could comfortably fit a multi tool in it. I have a Leatherman ARC, but I've also been thinking about getting something a little smaller as well. Anyone have experience doing this?

After a year, the weight has been creeping back at 5 mg. Go higher?

Hello! I went on 2.5 then 5mg of Zepbound a little over a year ago. I was 5’ 7” and fluxed between 200 - 195. I quickly dropped to 170. So so happy!

The last couple months it’s been fluctuating a bit but lately is starting to settle closer to 177, and I’m a little concerned it might keep going that direction. I am trying to watch what I eat, but to be honest, I’m not great about it with work travel and having a toddler at home.

I’m considering asking my doctor about going to 10mg. Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?

How to clean Shinki horse hide

I love these boots, but if they get so much is a few raindrops on them they get dark water spots that appear to be permanent as they do not go away. What’s the best method for cleaning and conditioning this leather? I pretty much never clean boots but just brush them off thoroughly and condition them with a little Venetian shoe cream. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Torn between Sony 135mm GM 1.8 and Sigma 135 1.4 lenses.

I can get both used in excellent condition. The Sony a couple hundred cheaper. The Sigma is my knee jerk reaction for sure. My most used lens is my Sigma 85 1.4. I’ll mention I shoot both video and stills, but mostly video.

My reservations about the Sigma are two things mainly. The minimum focus distance is a bit of a bummer. Seems like it will be a pain in the run and gun style I typically work in. I also like to employ diffusion filters as well as NDs, and the 105mm filter thread is very limiting and makes the filters pricey. I already have the filters I want in the filter thread size of the Sony so that would be a nice little bit of savings.

I’m happy to spend a bit of extra money to get the lens I want, but I’m really wondering if it’s really all that worth it. Any review I've read from folks who have used both say the Sigma is worth it, but I was just hoping to hear anyone else's experience with these lenses.

EDIT: I shoot primarily corporate and creative content. I RARELY shoot any sports.

April Sample sale boots come through?

Have you guys received your boots from the April Sample Sale?

Mine haven’t entered production yet. Kind of surprised since they were “lightning ship”. I had an email saying they were in production, but they then told me that was a mistake and they had not been started. Just curious if they had begun shipping them.

My wife bought me these 3-4 years ago, but they got packed up in a move and just resurfaced. Are they so dry they are garbage, or can they be salvaged?
