Need thoughts on these initial rules for my upcoming pokemon dnd campaign (A LOT OF READING)

I have been putting this project to the side for around 2 years now because of work but now I want to get back into it and finish this. I've been wanting to make a pokemon campaign but the original one focuses on the trainer which my setting doesn't have.

Racial Traits: Since there are over 1000 pokemon, it would take forever to go by them one by one when it comes to racial bonuses and abilities so I decided to make a universal sheet for them based by their types. Each type has a physical stat and a mental stat. If the pokemon is a dual type, the first type will get a +2 while the second type gets a +1. You can choose any combination. Alongside bonuses, each type will get a ability that the player can earn. If they are a dual type, they can only choose one out of the two.

Type Bonus Ability
Bug Dex/Wis Gain a climbing speed of 30 feet.
Dark Str/Chr Gain darkvision out to 60 feet
Dragon Con/Chr Gain 1 Lucky Coin. Once per long rest, reroll a d20 after seeing the result and use the new roll.
Electric Dex/Wis Increase your movement speed by 10 feet.
Fairy Dex/Chr Gain advantage on Charisma checks made against Pokémon that share at least one of your types.
Fighting Str/Wis Learn one additional move whenever you reach a move-learning level threshold.
Fire Con/Chr At the start of combat, gain temporary hit points equal to your character level. Any remaining temporary hit points disappear when combat ends.
Flying Dex/Int You are resistant to falling damage.
Ghost Dex/Int Gain advantage on Stealth checks made in low-visibility conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, or crowds.
Grass Str/Chr Whenever you regain hit points, regain an additional 1d6 hit points. This bonus increases at higher levels. (Works like Bardic Inspiration in terms of dice)
Ground Str/Wis While standing completely still on solid ground, you cannot be pushed, pulled, or knocked prone against your will.
Ice Con/Int Difficult terrain does not cost you extra movement.
Normal Any Gain proficiency in any two skills of your choice, or gain expertise in one skill you are already proficient with.
Poison Con/Int You are immune to mundane diseases and poisoned food or drink. You can automatically identify whether a substance is poisoned after examining it.
Psychic Str/Int You can communicate telepathically with creatures within 30 feet.
Rock Con/Chr Choose one saving throw that does not already use your proficiency bonus. You gain your proficiency bonus that saving throw.
Steel Con/Wis While wearing armor, gain a +1 bonus to AC.
Water Dex/Int Gain a swimming speed of 30 feet and can hold your breath underwater for twice as long as normal.

This is a general ability list, since in my setting, they will get a second ability depending on which region they are from. (A lucario could take the fighting as his type ability and get Ice since they are from the Ice region) Any ability that a pokemon gets generally will be up for the dm. (Me :3)

The next stuff will involve this website: https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/all

Instead of classes choosing what your sheet will be like, it will instead chosen by your race's base stats.

HP: Hit Dice

ATK/SP ATK: Damage Dice Amount

DEF/SP DEF: Starting AC

SPD: Movement Speed

HP Hit Dice
1–63 D6
64–127 D8
128–191 D10
192–255 D12

Take the base hp number and use this table to determine what hit dice you will have. Take the max possible roll every level. This is due to how attacks will act in this. CON modifier is still added like normal.

Atk + SpAtk Damage Dice Amount
15–106 1 die
107–199 2 dice
200–292 3 dice
293–384 4 dice

Add both ATK and SP ATK and used the combined number to determine how many dice your character will roll PER ATTACK. (Extra attack doesn't exist in this)

When rolling for physical attacks, add your FIRST OR SECOND TYPE PHYSICAL MODIFIER along with your proficiency. The modifier isn't added to damage.

When rolling for special attacks, add your FIRST OR SECOND TYPE MENTAL MODIFIER along with your proficiency. The modifier isn't added to damage.

Status attacks saving throw DC will be determine by your first or second type mental stat. Works the same as 5e. The save type will be based off of what attack it is. (Which is what I'm working on atm)

ATK UP/ATK DOWN will add or remove the amount of dice you will roll by 1, up to a max of +3/-3. You can't go lower than 1 dice.

The same system will be applied to Accuracy up/down with +3/-3

When rolling for critical hits, double the current amount of dice of that attack. This is added after ATK UP/ATK DOWN is taken into account.

Def + SpDef Base AC
25–119 10
120–214 11
215–310 12
311–405 13
406–500 14

Add both DEF and SP DEF and use the combined number to determine your base AC. This is before adding your DEX modifier and armor bonus.

DEF UP/DEF DOWN will add or remove your AC by 1, up to a max of +3/-3. AC can't go below 10.

The reason why the AC can go so high is due to how much damage each attack can do. I'm trying to find a balance between and damage output

Speed Movement Speed
5–32 30 ft
33–60 60 ft
61–88 40 ft
89–116 45 ft
117–144 50 ft
145–172 55 ft
173–200 60 ft

Take your base SPD stat and convent it to determine your movement speed.

5e rules still apply normally when it comes to difficult terrain and the dash action.

SPD UP/DOWN will effect your movent speed by 10ft, to a max of +30ft/-30ft. Movement speed can't go below 10ft.

This is still a work in progress but for pokemon attacks, I'm planning on converting ALL POKEMON MOVES into this system (which is one of the reasons why I put this off.)

Move Power Damage Die Type
10–57 d4
58–105 d6
106–153 d8
154–201 d10
202–250 d12

The damage die type will be determined by the move power. This will be alongside the amount of damage dice. For example, if someone has a 3 damage die and uses a move that has a d8, it will be a 3d8.

Type Effectiveness and Resistance will effect the damage die type by one stage. If we take that 3d8, it'll be a 3d10 on effective or 3d6 on resistant. Double effectiveness won't be taken into this system.

Damage Die Type can't go lower than d4 or higher than d12

The reason why I'm not including extra attack is because some moves will be able to attack multiple times. Adding extra attack will make those moves busted.

Everyone will start with 4 moves (Move list will be taken from the pokedex website) and will gain 1 attack every 2 levels. Players who took the fighting ability will take 2 attacks every 2 levels.

I'm planning on adding 6 classes for this system. Physical Specialist, Special Specialist, and Status Specialist will focus on the different move types while the other 3 will be for utility.

The first 3 will add their modifier to those types of attacks along with have a point system that works like monk's ki. After using a attack that matches their specialty, they can use a certain amount of points to alter their attacks.

The utility classes will be a healer, a commander, and a tank. Healer can use their points to heal others, commander can use points to make a ally use their turn instead, and tank will use points protect allies.

This is what I have so far. The hardest part is going through all 900+ moves (Maybe more when the new pokemon game releases) along with making these classes.

Please give me some feedback about this system.

FOR THOSE WHO LOST THEIR SONGS

All of the old songs that don't work still have the audio files in appdata. Drag the songs over to your music folder and readd them.

Was ordered by a mod to make this video. (Dead as Disco)

On my last upload, Ninja-Trix requested me to play "Wonderful Night" by Fatboy Slim.

I'll probably make more of these vids on the sub but I don't want to start flooding it to the point where it's only these. Let me know what you guys think.

Decided to record another one.

Almost gotten a unbroken combo if it wasn't for the janky attack tracking ;-; (still hitless tho)

The camera decided to glitch out and started circling around me. (ignore the skin mod)

I was doing a custom boss rush challenge but died during the Arora fight on wave 3. Right after that, I decided to do a custom playlist of Kamelot songs and the camera decided to do this to me. I couldn't move the camera no matter how hard I moved my mouse.
