How do people get away with doing nothing for years??

some people I have worked with are definitely smart. but there are some who actually never do anything but just talk their way into promotions and such. is it just a likability thing?

i say this cause some of these people just outsource every single task and then move up. i just don’t get how it hasn’t caught up to them

What’s it like working with the insurance groups that are partnered with PE firms

Im not in this space but it seems a lot of finance folks are working at places like Apollo or KKR cause the respective insurance companies (Athene and Global) have been acquired. Are the cultures and such the same? are the people competent? how does it work to have the PE investment team and the insurance investment teams work together?

Are there any anime’s that will give me a hype up for working in finance?

I work in PE and am wondering if there is an anime adaptation of this work environment. I’m imagining something like industry plus death note but idk if that anime or manga exists

Why does solo leveling get so much hate when the purpose is meant to just hype you up

I get it. the writing ain’t good. I ain’t defending that. I don’t think it goated or anything. but it’s legit such a hype watch. gets your blood pumping. im excited to lift, train, work, study, whatever after watching it. It wasn’t meant to be some deep Shawshank redemption style plot line 😂 im not getting why people thrash it that hard
