[FRESH PERFORMANCE] Arlo Parks - atmospheric mix at a Japanese teahouse (login.jp)

I follow login(.)jp because they are sick and the places they choose are so unique and culturally significant, I was definitely not expecting Arlo in a teahouse, absolute fire tho

Pursuit of Power mayhem augment on Draven's Q does not scale

https://preview.redd.it/ly89c77m35bh1.png?width=990&format=png&auto=webp&s=560eb42f278bc484632977be0f374d38a211cebd

RIOOOOOOOT
I got as a first augment Pursuit of Power in my Q against the extra range and AS in my W, turned out it never stacked, I dominated the game but that was because I got a pretty strong comp that allowed me to be in the back, however the same thing happened when my Akshan got it in his E, a match that we lost.

Not only the new augments kinda suck, but they are bugged, in the previous augments, whenever I got the enhanced spellblade augment it would never cure me, and it took like 2-3 patches to be fixed, this sucks.

[UPDATE 1 YEAR] The MTE Crosspath sucked, such a dissapointment

A year ago I told you beautiful people that I finally switched my trusty Columbia IVO Trail's which lasted 4 years with the MTE Crosspath, they were a bit expensive for my taste and uhm, they sucked, baaaad.

They are comfy, I'll give you that, also being waterproof is a nice bonus, but that's all the good things I can say about them, as the build quality is atrocious.

You can see in the first three pics that:

  • The tendon padding of the right shoe dislodged in the first week, they refused to change them as they didn't have more pairs
  • Shoelaces are a bit slippery so they tended to unravel while walking
  • The tab lip deformed almost immediately
  • The pull tab lettering faded after only one month
  • And the most outrageous thing, the one that made me abandon them except for select occasions, the sole weared out, fast, like 2-3 months fast

Now, you may be thinking, well, it's been a year! It's kind of expected.

Well, here's the plot twist, I said 1 year because it's been a year since I told you guys I bought them, but in reality I only used them 7 months, yup, you heard that right, that's the state of the shoes after just SEVEN MONTHS, as you can imagine, the quality is simply abysmal, and the worst part? The first month they had barely any use, as I had a severe hip issue, so basically I couldn't walk for a month, so that was just 6 months of wear, simply unacceptable.

Now, on November-December my boyfriend bought a pair of Campers, and he was simply raving about them, saying is the best pair of sneakers he has ever bought in his life, so a couple of months later, fed up with the horrible quality of my Vans, I went to a bougie department store and they had multiple pairs of the Camper Kars for $120 and I snatched them immediately, and let me tell you, the difference is night and day, they are comfier and the quality is way, waaaaaaaaay better, like it doesn't even feel fair, this pair actually feels like it's gonna last me at least 3 years, as you can see the wear in the sole is minimal, the padding has hold up after daily use for 6 months and I don't feel any need to change them anytime soon.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed and I do not know if I would buy another pair of Vans in the future.

Cheaper alternatives to the Meze Alba

Hi peeps!

My boyfriend bought the Meze Alba as he was a bit disappointed with the Meze Neo 99, which he switched with me for a cool backpack, anyways, he is blown away by the sound, the soundstage and detail of the Alba's and gave to me to try, and I too am blown away, however they are quite pricey in Mexico (around $200 USD), so I would like to know if there are alternatives in the "chi-fi" that has a similar or equal sound signature that are cheaper.

I'm eyeing the Truthear Pure as the described sound signature rings a good fit to my taste: Warm sound with good tight bass.

I mostly hear Jazz, funk, downtempo, electronica and overall chill warm tunes but some days I feel like hearing heavier stuff with deep bass and energetic grooves. Overall I like the bass to be punchy but not overwhelming, I want a kick but that it doesn't overlap with the vocals and the highs.

As for headphones/speakers I currently own the aforementioned Neo 99 that I quite like, a Marshall Emberton III speaker which I also like (Marshall sound), and my Airpods 4 ANC that I also quite like but mostly for convenience.

I want to use them when I want to critically listen to an song, album or overall artist, as sometimes the clock hits 11 PM and I know I'm gonna sleep late because I will be up just jamming.

I'm excited to see what you guys recommend, my max budget would be $150 bucks after taxes, so $130 before taxes.

Cheers!
