I am level 12 and have 3 characters with level 12 athletics, but the highest score is 22.
Can I return when I have levelled up?

Hello. I am trying to avoid guides as much as possible to keep my game spoiler free.
I have pretty much finished the 5 or 6 areas I have access to. at the moment, in terms of exploration. I am still on the quest where people turn into monsters, having delayed this for exploration.
I have my main settlement at "town" level and 5 villages. Two of these have 9 buildings so I think I can upgrade them soon.
Am I soft locked until I upgrade my main town to a city? Is there anything I need to do before I finish off ( I played Rogue Trader and locked myself out of most of the DLC because I finished a chapter too quickly)?

Why?
It doesnt display properly. It hides half your own message, the post button, and the thing you are responding to.
Its like keeping adding poison to bottled water. "Oh the customers didnt like poison in their water" "oh take it out and we will add it to the next batch and hope they dont notice" "Why are we poisoning the water again?" "Yes"
I have been playing for a week and I cant work out how food and rations work.
I know you only use rations when you camp in a dungeon and cant hunt, but my camping supplies and rations remain at 6 after resting (and thats assuming i need 1 for each party member).
And how does the food you are carrying around play into this?
Do these count as rations?
Thing is the rations and camping supplies weigh an absolute ton, so I am sure its not 1 ration in each.

Im completely clueless as to what I am meant to be doing here.
I have completed the Mission to kill the Elk douchebag
So I have my first city. I have put a village in the region to the north.
I am restoring the temple
I timed out on the bald hill mission
I am fighting the trolls at the moment.
I have explored most of the area to the west.
I have stared looking around the east and south.
How do I expand my territory, or does the expansion come from specific quests being completed?
Just saying...
Could a frontline of Dwarf Warriors, or Ironbreakers, or even Irondrakes... stand in front of man sized gunpowder units, and not get hit in the back of the head?

Hello. I have only been playing this game since the first came out and have thousands of hours.
I just did an ambush with Skaven against Brettonians.
It was one with a road leading up the mountain to an exit point. I slammed into the side of their troop column army while my heroes and lord chased their lord. Unfortunately she was too fast and got to the exit point before my Jezzails could finish her... The moment she escaped their entire army broke and fled and the battle ended. My army was a bit slow and the terrain wasnt suited to direct fire weapons, so I just ended the game.
Thing is, every unit survived (mostly intact).
Is this some sort brave sir robin French superpower?
I honestly thought only the units which get to the exit survive an ambush. What are the rules here?

I am getting a bit fedup of whomever I play as ending up with allies that end up becoming too powerful.
My lastest Empire Campaigns have both seen Bretonnia, Kislev and The Dwarfs dominate, only leaving Norsca as a threat. This kinda ruins the later game. And this seems to keep happening. Its annoying , more for the the time you sink in before you realise there is not much to play for,
Changing difficulty levels affect all the ai factions so Im not sure this will help.
So is there a mod that can nerf specific factions or races, so I can make Kislev a bit weaker for example?
