Hi all let me give you all some context. I got engaged last year in January and our marriage was decided in November.we come from Indian household so ofc the wedding had to be in India we three-5 rituals and ceremonies. I was in Canada and my sister was in usa. I informed her about the planning and she said she is not sure but she will plan to make it. Indirectly she didn't make it, my cousin who I was hoping to be my brides maid decided to wear her wedding outfit on the same day as mine, I had to ask my sister in law to take care of the brides maid duties which she didn't knew because she was below 18. I was heavily upset with this because neither my sister who had been my back support been there and she isn't in any pictures, didn't congratulate me even in video call and now she is here with us. Her argument at the time of wedding was that she is unable to leave due to work but now all of a sudden she is out of USA. Everyone including my mom said I was selfish that I requested her to come and spoil her career. My father passed away and since then I was only close to my sister and mom but yes she decided to ditch me on my wedding day (she is elder btw) now she is asking me to be at her wedding, what should I do? When I indirectly mentioned my mom I wouldn't be coming she said I am just petty. My husband saw how alone I was. Now she is apologizing and requesting. Why do I feel stuck? Why no one counted my feelings when I was alone and helpless​​
