Just wondering if high paying low stress jobs actually exist. If your high paying jobs are very stressful and demand long hours, how do you manage the stress and WLB? Thank you for sharing in advance!
Switched roles internally at a company I’ve worked for 5 years recently and the team turned out to be a nightmare. Team leader speaks abusive language whenever they get frustrated which is very often. Team already lost 3 ppl in the past two months so I’m working at 80 hours a week. On top of that, hate the work, found it extremely meaningless. Could have stayed and looked for a new role internally but I’m very burnt out and want a reset. Husband and I checked out financials and think we can go one year with one single income. So decided to quit. Giving my notice tomorrow.
I am still a little scared, knowing how bad the job market is and also I’ve never been unemployed since graduation, which is 10 years ago. I am mid level and in tech so the exact demographic tech companies are laying off right now. Those who worked in corporate and quit without a job lined up, can you share with me your experience please? Thanks in advance!
