holding yarn together, make it tweed or does it look weird?

just knitting up a swatch for sweater 15, pre blocked
not sure if the make it tweed works or whether it just looks odd
overthinking massively aha

why are all my favourite foods orange ffs😭😂
before it was carrots and cantaloupe.. now it’s pumpkin

i’ve only ever really knit sweaters and winter garments, and part of me loves the idea of a nice silk or linen summer garment, but in general i don’t wear tight tops (gastroparesis and bloating are not my friend 😭😂)
