Hey guys, I have 1 YOE and was probably 80% responsible for the creation, annotation, and design of around 120 sheets of work for a project.

My work was then checked by an intern and then another person with 2 YOE. I feel like I am more competent than both of these people, so I don’t feel like my work was actually checked. In fact, they made some changes to the plans for the worse imo

The client review comments tore us to shreds. I am worried because I am the only one addressing these comments and I feel like I don’t know anything. Idk how this project is going to be constructed …

Is turning in garbage plans something that happens often? I feel like the contractor is just going to do his own thing , these plans are shit.

Am I wrong for hating this? I hate trying to create an accurate estimate for stuff I legitimately know nothing about. And during review, I’ll get comments like “do we need this item?” Idk… it shows up in the plans and general notes, that’s why I put it there

Feel like it just makes sense for people who were involved with the drainage design to make an estimate for drainage …

I was a mouth breather for the first 18 years of my life. I was bullied for my lack of jaw throughout my high school years, never thought anything of it though…

Then one day I was sitting alone in the library (my college experience) and a video of proper breathing popped up. I watched it and was completely surprised.

YOUR SUPPOSED TO BREATH THROUGH YOUR NOSE?? Also the tongue is supposed to be attached to the roof of the mouth? What the HELL man. I always breathed through the mouth and my tongue is always down. Now, I breathe through the nose but my tongue is down.
