CC2 Auxiliary Part Cooling Fan mod for CC1?

I asked about this a while back when the Auxiliary Part Cooling Fan for Centauri Carbon 2 first showed up on the Elegoo store as an individual item. I know there's several mods that refit the original Aux fan for the CC1 to achieve a similar function but part of me would rather try to make this fan work.

What I'm wondering is can the original fan be disconnected and this one be used in its place?

Opengrid or Skadis Light?

I'm looking to to add a wall mounted organization setup in a 2x2 space behind my desk. It would basically hold light stuff like screw and hex drivers, some of my 3d printing and designing tools and maybe a few shelves or drawers. I'm looking between printing out Opengrid or [Reinforced Skadis Light](https://www.printables.com/model/1716625-slightly-reinforced-light-skadis-board) panels I've found.

They are comparable in grams of filament used for a 7x7 Opengrid at 61.9g or 200mmx200mm Reinforced Skadis Light at 68.66g according to Orca Slicer. I can of course scale the Opengrid to 8x8 for the maximum size I can print at 80.7g but I dont have that option for the Skadis board without manually editing it. I can also attempt to stack the Opengrid and use PETG as a interface but I've never done that before so it will be a learning experience as to with the Skadis I can only print 1 panel at a time.

So I'm writing this out to see what more experienced people would recommend and suggest. I have a feeling it's going to be the Opengrid or recommendations of going with Multiboard. While I do like the look Multiboard it uses more filament and takes longer to print and I'm not going to place anything really heavy enough on it for it to be beneficial. Aesthetically I like the Skadis over the Opengrid but I also place importance on practicality and usability. Any advice would be much apreciated.

Minimizing RGB on next build?

Just wondering if there's anyone else that's considering minimizing RGB lighting on their next build? I have it on my current build and when it works it looked good but having multiple software wanting to control everything is just a pain and iirc has been shown to lead to freezes and BSOD. And yeah I know of other software like OpenRGB that's supposed to be able to control all of it but I could never get it to work right.

So on my next build I'm thinking maybe just a strip to give a little accent color inside. Other than that the only thing I won't to light up is the AIO LCD screen and my motherboard cycle lights.

Is the STEM Swappable Modules still in consideration?

About 2 years ago VKB revealed the STECS lineup which also featured the STEM. I had noticed that the modules looked as if they could be removed and potentially swapped out with different modules. So I asked and they responded that with enough interest it would be considered. So I made This Post to highlight it.

I'm now making this post to ask the community if they're still interested and to see if VKB would be willing to give an update on it.

What modules would you guys like to see? More switches? More buttons and encoders? What about a mini throttle? Or a keypad? Maybe a insert for something like the Elgato Stream Deck to fit in? What's your thoughts?

I use the Gladiator to play Star Citizen and have the A1 swapped to the standard hat but was thinking of trying the mini stick but I don't know a lot about how it functions.

Currently A1 is used for targeting puposes. I still want to use it for that with directional presses and holds. I'm thinking though of using the joystick function though as manual control of gymbals. Ideally I'd have a long press switch both the joystick mode and the gymbal mode at the same time.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance!
