Parents with 2+ kids: how do you make sure each child gets enough one-on-one time with you?

I have three boys, and one thing I’ve realised is that spending time together as a family isn’t always the same as spending time with each child individually.

Between school, work, activities and everyday life, it’s surprisingly easy for most of our conversations to become “Did you finish this?” or “Get ready, we’re getting late.”

I’ve been thinking about intentionally giving each kid some regular one-on-one time, even if it’s something simple.

**For parents with multiple kids, what actually works for you?**

My kids (8 and 10) are always looking for a screen whenever they have free time. Is this normal?

My two boys, aged 8 and 10, seem to automatically look for a screen whenever they have some free time—TV, tablet, phone, anything.

Even when the house is full of toys, books, and enough chaos to open a mini circus, their first question is still, “Can I watch something?” 😅 😅

Is this the same for most kids this age, or have you actually managed to get your kids to enjoy other activities without constantly reaching for screens?

What actually worked for you in changing this habit? I’d love to hear what other Indian parents are doing.
