I (44m) went to my buddies (60m) house yesterday to hang some artwork, help him build a bookcase, get dinner and watch the baseball game. Cool. Fun times right?

Well the girl (37) I've been hanging out with constantly for the past 4-5 months was texting me and sending VMs like we always do on a daily basis. He hates her with a passion. Whatever, he knows my stance. He doesn't care.

When I was either hanging some of his art or building the bookcase, she texted me asking a question about the baseball game we are going to tomorrow. He grabbed my phone without me knowing and replied "no" to something I obviously would have said yes to. I didn't know he did that for almost an hour because I was busy doing stuff for him. When I saw it and called him out, he just laughed. I let it go that day because whatever.

But today I told him how that wasn't okay, and he just laughed and after a lot of back and forth he said "I'm sorry you feel that way".

Am I wrong for being pissed as fk about this? It has nothing to do with who he texted. It's the fact that he took my phone and texted someone without me knowing. He just doesn't get it and thinks I'm over reacting. I was mildly upset before, so I figured I'd bring it up to him man to man, and his responses are what sent me over the edge.

No, I don't have a pass code on my phone, because I have nothing to hide so there's no reason. I just never thought a good friend would ever do something like that. And when confronted, he just didn't seem to care at all. AITA here?

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered multiple times, but from everything I've read I can't find an answer and it's driving me nuts.

Backstory: this happened to me at a friends birthday party. I watched him do the trick with a few others too. Everyone there I knew except the magician and his girlfriend. He was apparently on TV shows and actually a known magician.

The trick: he handed me his card and a sharpie, said to think of someone and write it on the card and fold it up and hold it in my hand. He never touched it after I wrote the name and folded it into my hand. I wrote it around the corner and 100% out of view of him or his girlfriend (or anyone else for that matter). There were no mirrors in the room.

Then he said it's a short name, 5 letters, it ends with a Y. It begins with R. Tell Randy I said hello.

How could he possibly have done that? Nobody at that party even knew who Randy is. Not a single soul. He lives 300 miles away. The only thing I could reasonably think of was the sharpie, because later on he did a trick I caught part of where the answer to the asked question was printed on the sharpie.

I watched him do the same trick to someone else and watched everything closely and he still got the name correct.

It's driving me nuts!

Ok, this is probably going to be a really strange question, but I have nowhere else to turn.

I have a 10 inch zucchini that I want to preserve for as long as humanly possible. I have mason jars that can accommodate it. This zucchini will never be eaten.

I've pickled things before, but they were for consumption. The goal here is to keep this zucchini around for as long as I can.

Any tips or methods to make this possible? It doesn't need seasoning aside from what's needed to preserve it. Please help!

Long story short, guy was at the restaurant, lied about picking up my order, drove circles around my house for 10 minutes, showed up at my place and drove away as I was standing right there without saying anything, texted me saying he never picked up my order, parked down the street for 20 minutes, took a picture of the sidewalk and marked delivered.

After 20 minutes talking to uber they said someone else has my order and it would be there in a few minutes. 20 minutes later I call the restaurant and my order is still there. The manager delivered it to me personally (I didn't even ask, the manager was pissed at the uber guy).

It seems obvious the guy was trying to take advantage of the system by wasting so much time and not even getting my food, because he knows nothing will probably happen. He also got the tip.

So I called uber to report him and get my tip back. I feel a little bad now but it took two and a half hours to get my food.

Was I wrong??

The post about Danny playing Fleetwood Mac at the Baked Potato sparked me to make this post.

If anyone is in the Sherman Oaks/Studio City area, Danny will be playing with the Webb Allstars tonight (the 29th) and with Jamie Kime group on May 17th. If you can go trust me it's amazing. Ill be at both shows! Both groups are crazy good, both have Jamie Kime (hes incredible) and you can get the biggest and tastiest baked potato you've ever had.
