Magic creature type of book

Hi, I'm looking for a book similar to fantastic beats, I only watch the movies and thought we didn't get enough of the creatures.

I'm looking for books where the creatures and there lore are central.

Like imagine if we had a side story about Hagrid travels and discovery of magic beast. Or just a book around a menagery and care for magic creatures with lots of lore and details. Something similar to the Ancient magus bride Manga for those who knows it.

I'm not really interested in big evil fighting like in the movies Fantastic beasts where it completely takes over the initial plot : the magic creatures. I wouldn't mind at all having tiny adventures about them, or more personal struggles.

I read the spellshop, which was pretty ok but still too light in this regard in my opinion.

I already read encyclopedia of fairies by Heather Fawcett and didn't like it that much; was also to light, even more it's supposed to be a study about them and it's overthrown, once again, in regard of bigger motives.

Hope my insight helped a bit to what I'm looking for 🙏

It's not for use, I just had fun trying to make it.

The grid is to tiny tho, I struggled making the water (it doesn't look good)

Snail floor pattern

I couldn't find a snail design I like on pinterest, so I made my own.

I'm a bit skeptical about the shell but it's hard to work on a tiny design 🐌

I also made the mirrored version!

(I was thinking making the going down version left/right but it would take 4 slots so to much.)

Snail design pattern

Weeds

Not me realizing after 1000h+ on acnh that weeds can't grow if you have more 149 of them on your island.

Not me also using weeds everywhere to give a realistic touch to my island .... 😭

I genuinely thought I was doing something wrong when growing my weeds, like I wasn't watering them enough or not right amount of consecutives days or something 🫠🤦

My new flag!

Might round up the corner in the future.

So it's supposed to match my island which is cut in half, left side is rural Japanese and right is nature/magic theme; I tryed to represent my themes, the color palette I picked was tricky, no blue and purple, struggle was hard. I didn't know what to add on the right side to make it match my idea. Idk if it works that well. Also can you tell it's a wind chime 🎐 on the left?

The frog is just a ref to my island name, it's a French word meaning happyness and peace, feeling of being content 🧘‍♂️ I also just love frog, wanted to use one for my flag.

If you have any recommendations, tiny magic design I could use or any tip, I'd appreciate 🙏
