First attempt to recreate a ballroom, but I'm still looking for the perfect mirrored wall😅 K.K. tango is playing in the background✨

I texted my family group chat, and my mom was like why is there a toilet in your spa? 🤦🏿 Lol (My original bathroom was basic because it takes forever to get certain furniture.) I didn't know fancy homes had a separate room for the commode.

For those of you who make custom designs, how did you learn how to do it? I've watched a few tutorials and followed a bunch of pictorials but im still struggling with organic shapes and shading.

I was able to successfully create a few outfits but they feel flat, and I'd really like for my designs to have more dimension with shading etc.

So if you can suggest any really good YouTube videos or anything please let me know 🙏🙏

So I found a short tutorial on shading and was able to add a bit of dimension to my garment...im still struggling a bit with figuring out how to make like 5-6 different shades of one color, but for now I think I really love this dress 😍🥰

My shopping plaza felt very empty and I finally came across an idea that fit both in size and logistically. We now have a little outdoor music store!

I have a similar shaped area that's slightly smaller to the left, in front of my Nook's Cranny. Any ideas for something in a similar vein to put there? I want something else that makes sense in a shopping area. Maybe a smoothie shop? Could be smoothies for Spring/Summer and then Hot Cocoa for Fall and Winter!

I found these recently & they're too good not to share. 😊 It makes me wish we had actually camper vans in-game haha.

I've been working on this island (Naturewood) since May of 2025 without online or playing with another person (so no treasure islands or any of that sort of thing).

Here's my farm area, which has staircases leading to intk my orchard. To the left is the island peninsula, which was designed as a sort of fishing cabin. Then to the south of the farm, I've begun working on my rainbow garden. I have personally bred every single flower minus blue roses and green mum's, which I figure will sprout any day now.

In the last week or so, I've massively moved several areas from the right side to the left of my island. Doing so turned out to be a great idea, because now I feel like the areas flow better from one to the next. I think I have approximately 50% of my island done now. It's nice to feel inspired to play again when I felt so stagnant and out of ideas for the last few months.

Anyway, finally started using the in-game camera more, and just recently stumbled across this specific AC sub, so imagine you'll see more from me :)

Thoughts/Opinions/Ideas welcome!

This is my island layout right now after some terraforming. I did not include the rivers in the map; I created this on Happy Island Designer. I’ll probably work on eliminating the water today.

​The cliff in D6 with the incline has a bunch of hydrangeas on it. The cliffs in A/B 2/3 where the museum and campsite are located have trees and the current river/pond I need to get rid of. Any ideas are welcome! I’m thinking forest with different level trees, so I need to make an area to grow those. I am also working on blue windflowers and blue roses. 🌲💙

I recently had a friend visit my island and I was super excited to show her my home. I spent a LOT of time putting the interior together. When she stopped by she said she didn’t like it! I’d really appreciate it if you have the time to stop by to take a look around the inside of the home and tell me your thoughts! It would really mean a lot to me / help any future improvements.

Also, my wife and I have spent over a combined 1200 hours on our island, please feel free to enjoy the rest of the island if you do visit.
