My favorite build ever!

I’ve had at least 4 islands over the last several years and have developed a huge love for terraforming and waterscaping. I love doing cottagecore islands it’s my favorite theme. I really wanted to challenge myself this time. I’ve done a natural land bridge before and have posted it on Reddit. This one is different. First picture is the start of my land bridge which leads directly to the campsite shown in the second picture. The last picture shows the second land bridge (hiking trail) through the woods (back left of the campsite) that I added. I LOVE this build so much. This definitely isn’t the finished product and I plan to add more furniture and details. I just wanted to give some inspiration! I’ll be posting my dream address once my island is complete!

4 months of growth :)

I got a decent chop in March of 2026. Here’s my growth progress since then. The goal is tailbone length 🌻

Current progress

Ive been applying compound w nightly with a bandaid and then duct tape over it. I don’t debride too much only the dead skin layer on top. I want it gone so bad. I’ve had it for years now but never tried to be consistent enough with the treatment. Hopefully I can beat them this time. It’s the larger one and there’s a smaller one underneath. I posted a before pic where i started, then one in between treatment (possibly day two?) then currently I believe I’m on day 5 of treatment.

Progress July 1-August 2

I use to hate my nails and thought I had the shortest widest nails beds. Turns out I was over-filing my side walls and that made my nails grow into a weird wavy crooked pattern. They also grew in flared and just overall looked awful so for majority of my life I’d just cut them super short down to the nubs. My mom made a comment and said my nails looked roughed which is what was really opened my eyes. I realized my nail care was really lacking. I started doing research on proper nail care and filing techniques. I haven’t filed the sides of my nails in a month and ONLY file slightly straight across the free edge just to maintain the shape and not take off length. It took a month of that and using cuccio cuticle oil 3x a day and Essie good as new nail perfector to get here. I’m no where near my goal but I’m so happy with the results so far.

Essie good as new nail perfect (nail strengthener)
Cuccio cuticle oil milk and honey scented
Glass nail file
Cutile pusher
Cuticle softene

My Experience OBE

Approximately six years ago, while living in a halfway house, I had one of the most profound experiences of my life. To this day, I cannot say with certainty what it was, only that it felt more real than any dream I have ever had.
For context, I have experienced vivid dreams and lucid dreams since childhood, beginning around age nine or ten. Over time I became increasingly skilled at controlling them, which eventually led me to explore what many people refer to as astral projection or out-of-body experiences. I had learned that falling asleep on my back often increased the likelihood of entering sleep paralysis while remaining partially conscious, creating what felt like a doorway into these experiences.
One night, I intentionally attempted it.
My roommate, Kelly, was asleep in the bed beside mine. I fell asleep on my back and eventually entered that familiar state between sleeping and waking. At some point, I felt myself separate from my body. The sensation is difficult to describe because movement there feels fundamentally different than movement here. It was as if I could move incredibly fast while simultaneously feeling slow and weightless. Passing through walls felt like pushing through dense jelly at high speed.
When I first separated, I looked back and saw my roommate asleep in her bed. I also saw my own body lying in mine.
I then began moving through the house. I drifted through walls and rooms with ease and eventually made my way toward the front of the property. My intention was simple. I wanted to see how far I could go.
The moment I tried to leave the immediate area, everything changed.
Without warning, I was violently pulled backward. The closest comparison I can make is being attached to a cord that suddenly snapped tight. One instant I was moving away from the house and the next I was being reeled back at incredible speed. I was pulled directly back into my body.
Immediately afterward, I found myself awake but unable to move. I was lying on my back with my head turned toward the right side of the bed. I recognized the familiar feeling of sleep paralysis beginning to set in. As panic started to rise, I heard a sound.
It was a low humming frequency.
At first it was faint, but it steadily grew louder. As I focused on the space in front of me, I noticed a small red light hovering only inches from my face. Then the single light became three lights arranged in a triangle.
They hovered silently at the side of my bed.
The humming continued.
What happened next is the hardest part to explain. The lights never spoke aloud, yet communication occurred. Information seemed to arrive instantly and directly, without words. At first I was frightened, but the fear quickly disappeared. In its place came an overwhelming sense of calm and reassurance.
The presence felt intelligent.
It also felt oddly familiar and, strangely enough, humorous.
The impression I received was not threatening or grandiose. There was no prophecy, no warning, and no dramatic revelation. Instead, the message was almost playful. The best way I can describe it is that I had gone farther than I was supposed to, and whatever this presence was seemed mildly amused by my attempt. The feeling I received was essentially:
"That's far enough. You're done exploring for tonight. Go back to sleep."
Despite the absurdity of that statement, it genuinely felt like the encounter had a sense of humor.
One detail that has stayed with me all these years is not what I saw, but what I perceived. The experience did not feel limited to sight, sound, touch, smell, or taste. It felt as though there were additional senses operating simultaneously. Communication, emotion, intention, and understanding seemed to exist as direct experiences rather than information processed through language.
In the days that followed, I tried to rationalize what had happened. Before the experience, I had intentionally left a water bottle on my nightstand as a test. It was approximately two-thirds full. During the experience, the bottle appeared exactly where I expected it to be, and the room itself seemed perfectly accurate down to the smallest detail. Whether that was evidence of anything beyond an unusually vivid state of consciousness, I cannot say. I only know that it reinforced how real the experience felt at the time.
Even now, years later, what remains with me most strongly is not the imagery. It is the feeling. The certainty that I was conscious. The sensation of existing outside the normal boundaries of perception. And most of all, the overwhelming impression that reality contained more than I understood.
I do not claim to know what happened that night.
I only know that I have never forgotten it.
