Seriously I just bought a PC and I can't recover any of my games from the Xbox store and it is almost on fire with permissions request for the most bizarre things.
First of all why can't I download the over fifty games I purchased from the Microsoft store for my PC and then also why is it asking for camera access?
Don't know how to fix this because the games look way better in game mode, but even at max saturation in comes nowhere near close to the color of when I have hdr or any other setting on. Don't know why game mode practically removes all colour. Fixes?
So I'm wearing my turtle beaches right and some times my left ear and my right ear, like the sound cuts out. I get really mad because I think they're broken, so I unplugged the turtle beaches and use my TV's audio.
I'm scrolling through game pass games and I notice that every couple of games that the sound is coming from the right side of my television and then later the sound is coming from the left side of my tv.
I've never adjusted any settings (I find it really difficult to type what's going on with the constant prompts telling me about PSA threads, please delete those) but my sound is alternating between sides of my headphones and sides of my tv.
I've reset my Xbox, returned it to default settings, and it has never done this before this week. I've switched from Windows speakers to Dolby off to stereo and tried doing every sound setting and system.
For some reason there's alternating sounds on both my headset and my tv. I'm currently playing resident evil 2 and every gunshot I take either comes from the right side of my tv or the left side immediately one after the other. I plugged in my headset and it's doing the same. This never happened before ever. Before you give me the most basic answer (like you never read what I wrote) yes I've exhausted every setting in the Xbox settings.
Is this glitch known or has there been any fixes?
I was watching this YouTube doc about Fallout New Vegas DLC Dead Money where you can actually fail the entire game and roll credits. It's by joining the man who kidnapped you in the end, and it's a fail state because then you're cut off from the rest of the DLC's and the entire rest of the game. It just rolls credits.
Bethesda apparently hated Obsidian/Black Isle writers for putting a game over that wasn't a "game over" where you just revert to a previous load. You just lost and it's over. I thought that was really lame of Betheaday for insisting games have to let you win, especially after allowing a failure in "Morrowind".
What are some games that you can actually lose... And you do just actually lose? No revert to save, no takesie backsies, the game just lets you ruin your run and rolls credits. I feel like games that let you lose by your decisions are infinitely more compelling than "revert to a previous save" hero fantasies.
I've been disconnected for so long. I don't think anything is real, or my family is real, or anything that's going on outside of senses in my immediate vicinity is real. It's all just an illusion that I won't entertain. Nothing being real outside of what I can genuinely perceive around me somehow makes life make more sense. I'd rather believe nothing is real than believe in the madness and random nature of the universe.
One consciousness experiencing itself and everything is just some aspect of me I'm avoiding. I've watched friends and lovers just morph into me in time, until I had to pull away because the closer you get to someone the less and less real they feel. I don't believe in Gods, managers, the law, empathy, compassion, or even the black mirror I'm holding. Everything is fake and the only thing I do know is I somehow exist in this fucking shit spectacle I didn't create and will never understand.
I talk to a therapist and even she felt unreal, like I could subtly influence her behaviour and control how she talked to me. I was under so much pressure that I had a genuine psychotic break and was hallucinating her speech. She started specifically telling me things about my life I never told her, before I was placed in the hospital. I started wondering about CTE or head trauma, and the nurses started talking about me from "down the hall" mocking me for wanting an MRI. You ever notice during a psychotic break that the voices are always "over there", outside the window, down the hall, etc and never directly from someone around you?
If people under extreme duress can hallucinate the entire world around them, and some schizophrenic people constantly experience a different world than us, what is real anyway and how could you ever know?
I sometimes feel like I'm famous, like I'm being gang stalked, like people follow me around and record me. But I don't feel like a mad person, I just feel stalked and harassed and like my experience of life itself is some weird guinea pig for whoever controls consciousness to poke and prod and see what could or would break me. I hate this world, I hate this life, I hate how nothing has felt real ever since the hallucinations.
I went without sleep for five days and after experiencing that in like 2021 nothing has ever been the same. So, don't go without sleep. Good luck imaginary person.
So I just won Battle Royale, me and this other girl. The circle completely went away so we just stood in the smoke and died. We lost the game. We won the real thing, so he went out of bounds and we died to smoke. The player had hacked out of the map, and gas played us, then sent us texts making fun of us for playing the game fair. I reported the comms and the game and nothing was done.
Went into the next game, four groot players were boasting out loud actually telling people that they downed that they were using exploits. I report the comms and the activity and nothing happened.
I've now lost four games in a row, and most people ARE playing fair. Most people are NOT use exploits. The game takes like thirty minutes and it's completely ruined by these types of people.
I report I report I report and nothing is done. This issue would be so easy to fix it they just sent real people and not AI to monitor both the comms and play styles. When two players die to a smoky world and the third doesn't then they sent explicit direct messages how they did it and nothing is done that's completely unacceptable.
How can we actually get these people banned? I have like an hour and a half to play the game, a game which I used to enjoy, and want to play against real competitors. Getting to the final and losing to like kids on PC who are very OBVIOUS with their hip fire hawker shots across fields of Avalon has effectively made call of duty the worst gaming experience I've ever had.
