I know a PCN is 'just' a civil contract dispute. I'm not paying and I doubt they'll go to court. But who knows.
I parked at a site with no signage on a Bank Holiday and received a PCN 4 days later. The PCN includes 3 images of the car and one image of a sign. However there are no signs where I was, I have video and photo evidence of this in case they suddenly put one up. I walked the area and found the nearest sign which was 0.32 miles away according to a health app.
They (GXS) are a member of the IPC and the IPC rules state...
1. Signs within controlled land displaying the specific terms and conditions applying must:
1. a) be placed within the controlled land, such that drivers have the chance to read them at the time of parking or leaving their vehicle;
2. b) be sufficiently large to be visible from a distance and legible on approach;
Obviously I am appealing but with regard to the false image, could that be illegal in any way? Obtaining money by fraudulent means or similar? Thanks.
Looking at the options available to me in eBay, it looks as if I'm supposed to try to return the cable before I can do anything. Am I reading that right or am I missing something? It's supposed to be for my sons birthday but he can wait, I want to not get shafted. I used a CC so in the long term I might get a refund that way, but first steps for what looks like theft please?
3-4 minutes "updating the garage" going into a match or leaving it. This is bad. I've just uninstalled it all and I'm reinstalling on another drive (m.2) to see what happens.
