Promo posts
Hello! How often should I post a promo in r/EtsyPromos? I’ve made a couple of posts that boosted views but I’m not sure how often is too often to make a post. Thanks!

I’m looking for honest feedback on my newly revamped Etsy shop and would appreciate some outside perspectives from experienced sellers.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve completely reworked many aspects of my shop, including listing photos, thumbnails, descriptions, branding, and overall presentation. My goal was to create a more professional and cohesive shopping experience, but before I continue investing time and money into ads and new products, I’d love to hear what others think.
My shop focuses on 3D printed Roman, Greek, and historical sculptures, busts, and museum-inspired decor pieces for collectors and enthusiasts of classical history.
A few questions I have:
Does the shop look professional and trustworthy at first glance?
Are the listing photos and thumbnails strong enough to compete in Etsy search results?
Is the branding cohesive across the shop, or does anything feel inconsistent?
If you were interested in classical decor, what would prevent you from making a purchase?
What is the first thing you would improve if this were your shop?
Required Questions:
What inspired you to create this shop?
I’ve always had a strong interest in classical history, ancient art, Roman and Greek culture, and historical architecture. I wanted to create a shop that brings museum-inspired decor and historical sculptures into modern homes in an affordable way.
What research did you do before opening? What did you learn?
Before opening, I spent a lot of time studying successful Etsy shops in home decor, art, and collectible niches. One of the biggest lessons I learned was that presentation matters just as much as the product itself. Strong thumbnails, professional photography, and cohesive branding seem to have a major impact on both clicks and conversions.
Since launching, I’ve continued making changes based on what I’ve learned, and this latest version of the shop is the result of a complete redesign. I’m hoping to get fresh eyes on it and hear what stands out—both positive and negative.
I appreciate any constructive criticism and honest feedback.
ATTENTION History Lovers
If you’re into classical art, Roman history, Greek mythology, or unique home decor, I recently revamped my Etsy shop, Antiquity Prints.
I create 3D printed replicas of famous ancient sculptures and busts!
Each piece is printed with attention to detail and designed to bring a bit of the ancient world into modern homes, offices, libraries, and collections.Whether you’re a history enthusiast, collector, teacher, or just appreciate classical aesthetics, I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think.
Thanks for supporting small creators and history nerds alike.
🏛️ Antiquity Prints
I finally made my first sale! I made my account about three months ago and never really gained any traction with it but I finally made a sale! It’s not much but I’ll take it at this point!
The first layer keeps coming out like this. I have the bed leveled and run the calibration before every print. I also have done the paper test and adjusted the z-offset. Running SUNLU PLA and the Orca Slicer. Any thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I just launched my Etsy shop, where I sell 3D printed Roman and Greek-inspired statues and busts.
The focus is on classical antiquity pieces — think marble-style busts of philosophers, Roman emperors, and Greek-inspired sculptures designed for home decor, desks, bookshelves, and gallery setups.
Everything is printed with a clean, minimal aesthetic meant to feel like museum-style replicas without the crazy price tag.

I’m looking for honest feedback on my Etsy shop and hoping to get some outside perspectives on what I can improve to help me make my first sale. I opened my shop a few months ago and haven’t really gained any traction. I’ve tried Etsy Ads which brought in a little more traffic but did not bring in any sales.

I sell antique/classical inspired prints and decor pieces focused on Roman, Greek, and historical aesthetics. I’ve been working on improving my listings, photos, and SEO, but I still feel like I’m missing something when it comes to converting traffic into sales.
Questions:
Do my listing photos and thumbnails look strong enough to compete in Etsy search results, or do they need improvement?
Does my shop branding and overall presentation feel cohesive and trustworthy, or are there areas that make the shop feel incomplete?
Answers to required questions:
I’ve always been interested in classical history, antique artwork, and historical architecture. I wanted to create a shop centered around decor and prints that reflected those interests because I felt there was a niche for historical and classical-inspired pieces that still worked in modern homes.
Before opening, I spent a lot of time researching successful Etsy shops in the wall art and decor categories. One thing I learned was how important thumbnails and first impressions are. Many successful shops use very clean, consistent product photography and branding, which is something I’ve been trying to improve in my own listings.
I appreciate any constructive criticism people are willing to give. I’m mainly trying to figure out what experienced sellers notice immediately that I may be overlooking.
I opened an Etsy shop a few months ago selling 3D printed Roman and Greek statues and busts. I have everything priced pretty low but I can’t seem to gain any traction. What can I do to boost my shop and finally get my first sale? Thanks!
