Reusing brine for bonus pickles 🥒

Hello fellow pickle enthusiasts! When I finish a jar of pickles, I often add mini cucumbers back to the brine for a second bonus batch (if I didn’t drink the juice already!)

With the recent Claussen downfall posts, I have tried and confirmed the worst to be true. They just aren’t as good as they used to be! I’ve since added my own cukes back into the brine and they taste great!

Question is, can I do this again? How long can I milk a jar of pickle juice until they are either a) spoiled, or b) too diluted from fresh cucumbers being added again and again?

Anyone else do this or have any insights? Thank you in advance!

Bagger to maxi scooter?

So having a bit of midlife crisis but in the opposite direction of the typical 40s/50s man buys expensive toy.

I’ve been riding Harleys for 20 years and just not resonating with it anymore.

For clarity I do not identify as a biker or dress like a SOA weekend warrior.

Currently ride an Electra Glide, or should I say, currently own an Electra Glide.

I just don’t ride it. It just sits. It’s heavy and bulky and my commute is all in town. It’s a workout to back into spaces and my gas mileage isn’t what I could have if I were on something smaller. It’s just not fun for me anymore.

I like to have storage for my commute, hence the bagger. My commute is short and is all in a city/suburban setting and seldom need to get on the highway.

Saw a random video online about a Yamaha Xmax 300 and now I’m obsessed. It checks all the boxes.

Am I crazy?

Anyone here ever make a leap to small displacement or scooter from a big bike and not look back?

Thanks in advance.

TL,DR- Own an Electra Glide and don’t like it, currently intrigued by Xmax 300 and all things scooters and not sure how to feel as it’s against the typical progression of small to big displacement in motorcycling.
