Is there a good way to flood data sites with incorrect information about you (address, phone number, etc…)?

Reading a post on here got me curious. If removing one’s data is such a hassle and multi year ordeal of constant manual requests and monitoring…is there an alternative route, like a way to flood data sites with incorrect and conflicting information about you so that it’s basically impossible to tell it’s you or if it’s true about you?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Edit to add: someone deleted their comment that this isn’t a safe thing to do. Why wouldn’t it be safe?

2008 Prius C

Hello,

I recently came upon a 2008 Prius and after 2 months of city driving I took a short road trip. About 20 minutes into driving on the freeway past 65 mph for the first time the tire sensor pressure light started flashing then stayed on. I checked tire pressure, it was fine. Now it flashes then stays on every time I drive.

I read in one comment that it can cost $374 per sensor PLUS the $190 appt fee PLUS $500+ in labor at dealership. So over $1000 for a tire sensor? I can’t really afford that

Is this something I actually need to get fixed? Or can I just ignore it and manually check tires regularly.

Took irrelevant job out of necessity, feel stuck, unsure how to move forward.

Long story short, terrible things beyond my control compounded for a few years, and I ended up needing to take ANY job I could get. I had previously worked in Marketing for about 6 years, for a small integrated circuit tech company, kinda handling everything related to marketing and did consulting for very specific, niche immersive marketing campaigns for a few crypto companies; and I was in behavioral healthcare before that, where I also had my hand in marketing (ie had a team) but was primarily “chief operating Officer”, having worked my way up there over a few years from the bottom (also wrote all policy and procedure, business expansion/development/planning and handled compliance for things like joint commission).

So, following my life collapsing in basically every way imaginable, and unexpected loss of everything down to my vehicle blowing up, in need of work and applying wherever I could, I eventually somehow ended up working for the county treasury as a public service specialist, where I have been for about 6 months, performing tasks incessantly that I hate - and have zero relationship to my prior experience or skills.

I basically do light accounting and banking activities all day, on top of administrative work, and forward facing customer service. Zero room for creativity, zero room for professional development even if I wanted it in this role. Á job that entirely consists of tasks I am not particularly built for, and are quite possibly the most draining activities I’ve ever had to do for work, for laughable pay.

The benefits are good but the take home pay is basically non existent. I am so burnt out performing what to me feels like repetitive menial activities that I don’t know what to do, and barely have energy to workout after work end of day. Worse, it feels like it is leading NOWHERE. No lateral movement or upward movement possible.

How can I even use this job to my advantage? What will companies think when they see my resume go from Marketing Director or consultant to public service specialist? How do I even approach finding a relevant job now? AI also appears to be fully capable of taking the majority of generalist marketing gigs anyways. Any advice or input on what I should be doing/thinking about/how to use this to transition into something else would be greatly appreciated. I feel like every day I work here I am digging myself into a deeper hole I will never be able to get out of, and that I’ll be processing tax liens and tax payments until I die since I’ll never be able to retire on this income. Should I just go back to school for something else and plan on a new career 4 years from now? I am nearly 38 years old and I made more money at age 25.

Hello,

Emergency circumstances landed me homeless without access to housing, vehicle, work for nearly á year. During this time my one credit card I owed $1000 on defaulted with an additional $500 fees, so $1500 total, and was sent to collections.

I now have a job and want to do whatever I can to get back on track but I don’t know how to proceed. I called the original creditor because they had told me in an email I could still pay them off. But when I called today they said it was sent to collections and gave me collections phone number.

When I call collections what can/should I say? And what are the next steps after that? How do I rebuild credit?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Organ-people! Just curious if there are any lesser known organ pieces you’re aware of that might be fun to transcribe into a classical guitar arrangement? Open to any and all suggestions but hopefully stuff that hasn’t already been done. Thanks!
