Accept it or not, that doesn't change the fact that Chapter 220 is one of the best chapters in Reality Quest

This chapter properly showed what is called character development. Those people who didn't understand it from the beginning, or whose reading comprehension is terrible, are just saying Do-wan is a fraud. Like, how dumb does someone have to be?

Kang suffered a lot. He loves Bormaedong with all his life, and he wasn't talented from the beginning. That's why his current character development and ideology are much clearer. And when they used rocks and waves as a metaphor, I loved it. I never imagined the RQ author would represent the chapter that way.

Some brain-dead people are still saying that Do-wan is a fraud. Like, how can someone be this dumb? It's clear that Do-wan didn't even use any skills; he only used normal attacks. We clearly saw Do-wan massively holding back against Kang. Do-wan also realized Kang's emotions and feelings about Bormaedong. Do-wan was never defeated by Kang. At one point, Do-wan landed a critical hit, but Do-wan stopped himself and understood Kang's feelings. Out of respect, Do-wan gave up, while Kang pushed himself to his limits. In the end, both Do-wan and Kang, along with everyone else, were laughing, which shows their bonding. Neither of them is a fraud.

When Do-wan said he had also reached his limits, that was just for convenience and to support kang feelings. Those people saying Do-wan was exhausted are forgetting about Do-wan's recovery skills. By their logic, Kang would also be low-tier HQ member level, which is totally nonsense.

If we look at it properly, Do-wan wanted to respect Kang because they are kind of like friends/brothers at the same time. The latest chapter perfectly shows the character development of both Kang and Do-wan. Everything isn't about fighting or who is stronger. Sometimes, character writing is more important.

Nowadays, people hate Gapryong Kim because of his personality

He didn't care about his children and wife. Even if he cared about someone a little bit, he only seemed to care about Dalyoung and Jake. Even after marriage, he continued having relationships with multiple women. After Kitae came with James and killed him, Kitae, his first son, killed all of his siblings, with only Jake surviving. Even Jake's mother hates him.

But mainly, people hate him because of his personality. Like Taesoo Ma said, "Everyone can become the best, but not everyone can become a real man." But if we look at the bigger picture, Gapryong Kim saved the world from the Yamazaki Syndicate. Just imagine if he hadn't appeared out of nowhere. Nobody would have been able to stop Shingen, not even the strongest fighters from around the world. Shingen was so powerful that he could have devastated the world.

In real life, a person can do many good things, but if they do something morally wrong, people will still judge them negatively. Scientifically, power and morality are separate traits. A person can be courageous, powerful, and willing to protect others while still being selfish or unfaithful. Psychologically, this can involve compartmentalization, where someone maintains different standards in different parts of their life.

In mythology, gods like Zeus were also intentionally portrayed with human flaws, so being a protector of the world didn't mean being a morally perfect person.

So, I think Gapryong Kim may not be morally good enough, but not everyone can become a Gapryong Kim out of nowhere too .

As a father and husband, he was a piece of shit, but for the world, he was a hero.

I'm not even surprised if Samuel eventually turns out to be another real son of Gapryong Kim, like Kitae and Jake.

So, hating Gapryong Kim is kind of meaningless. I'm not defending Gapryong Kim's wrong actions. I'm just presenting a specific perspective. What do you guys think? You can share your perspective.
