Product to reseal?

Two years ago major hail storm broke my skylight and vent fan. Had a mobile guy do the repairs and submit to insurance. Cleaning the roof today saw there were cracks. They appear to be on the surface only but they have me concerned. How would they have gotten to this condition so quickly?

Best to scrape off and redo? What product to use?

LLY advice

I have a 2005 GMC 2500 with the LLY with 170K. Head gaskets were done four years ago and studded. It's primarily used to tow my travel trailer at 6K with some weekend warrior hauling for home projects. We are looking at upgrading our trailer to a 10,000 lb fifth wheel. I'm a bit concerned about cooling and want to know what steps to take? Radiator? Motor tune for towing? Transmission cooler?

This is a particular concern as I live in Colorado with lots of steep passes.

Looking for a new trailer

Currently have a 2017 KZ connect 231BHS. Both kids are about to finish college and are working/busy so not coming with us much. Son built and overlanding trailer so when he does brings that. My bride wants a new (at least to us) trailer with recliners and more room. Leaning towards a 5th wheel.

Tow vehicle is 2005, GMC 2500 Duramax, 4x4, Crew cab SLT, 6ft bed. 170K on odometer. Head gaskets upgraded and studded. Plan on upgrading the radiator and getting a tune for towing. Also considering the modification to add the 6th gear to the Allison. Looking at the numbers I believe I have to keep my tongue weight at 2000lbs for a fifth wheel. She is in love with a Grand design 303RLS with a GVWR of 11995.
