Guys! I tried to get registered with IRD to obtain my TIN but the platform says i am already registered and yes I remember registering when they introduced TIN registration first and paused it. Hello my fellow techies, i am a final year student pursuing a degree in software engineering at a private university and if everything goes smoothly, i will be completing my degree by this November. I hope so!
I did my internship at a startup. They have some huge clients in Sri Lanka and we were working on building their systems despite being a small team with only 10 engineers including the interns. The experience was great and i learnt so many things! The tech stack was also great!
However, i had to leave them after 7 months as I couldn't manage the pressure of final year research project and 8/9 hour shifts five days a week(excluding commutes). Yes, no remote babe! Now that 90% of my research is done, i'm looking forward to finding another internship(i do acknowledge the crisis for internships) at a company where i can grow and settle down. I also plan to move out(probably Australia) by the end of 2027.
