Okay, I'm gonna use voice to text for this, cause I suck at typing. But basically, I sent my methylphenidate to CVS. It is for ADHD. I used to be on it for four years, and was on Adderall for like 10 years before that. The reason I'm going back on methylphenidate is because I'm going back to school, and I need it to focus. I disassociate a lot, and it helps. But anyways, I went to go pick it up, and they're telling me I need insurance for them to give this to me. I was expecting to self pay. I'm in between my insurances right now. I lost my Medicaid, and my new insurance doesn't come into effect until the 1st. Now, I know pharmacists have the last say on what they want or not want to refill. But I feel like this is very unfair, and I'm really confused as to why I cannot get the medication I need to function, and they won't let me self-pay.
Edit: I went back today and explained the situation better. The PIC (same one) said she would put it through with a coupon as well but it’s a one time exception and for refills I need my insurance. She was really nice this time so I think maybe she misunderstood what was going on last time. Thanks everyone for the advice! Not sure if I should take down this post now but I’ll at least leave it up for the next couple hours.
Okay so basically I’ve been having a panic attack for the last week and I stupidly decided to take my old Zoloft (50mg) and now I’ve lost a lot of my romantic feelings for my partner. I’ve taken it for 3 days. Will it come back now that I’ve stopped?
