That was a crazy few days but standing in that field in Palencia last night made it worth while. I was jumping around for joy after totality ended. Amazing.
Wandering the streets of Tokyo throws up some fun sights.
Shibuya isn’t the only crossing to make pictures. The rooftop gardens of Tokyo Plaza near Harajuku offer the chance to get something a little different.
Commuters, tourists and locals mingle in the Nara underpass
Man oh man, you have to love the Japanese obsession with mint condition gear. I’m currently over here and had half a mind to keep an eye out for a secondhand Q3 28, with a max budget of £4k. Browsing the Fujiya cameras website, I saw one listed as having no strap, no box, torn eyepiece rubber and scratches and paint chipping across camera body. I thought it was worth a look and ended up grabbing it for £3200. I’ll be using it for work so don’t care about the box, a strap cost £25 and here are a few shots of the “damage”. Bargain!
They’ve sent a correction now but that’s quite the mistake to make on a launch email!
Hi all,
Firstly, I’ve read the pinned faq page and tips at the top but can’t see an answer to my question, so am asking here.
I’ve filled in my VJW account with my details, my family, full info on the trip including all required questions and can’t see what I’m supposed to do now.
Everything I’ve read says that after doing all of this, I get the QR code but nothing shows on the page and I’ve not received anything by email. Am I missing something obvious? It was all straight forward apart from this final element.
Many thanks for any help.
A few hours at the petrol station in the sky above Scandinavia yesterday as Czech, German and Swedish fighter jets refuelled from a British Voyager as part of Exercise Ramstein Flag. All shot on Nikon Z8 bodies with either Z 24-70mm or Z 70-200mm lenses.
I attended the launch of Jack’s “These Thoughts May Disappear” exhibition in London today. Well worth a look if you’re in the UK.
