Hi all! I am so so in love with my Leona’s! Unfortunately, they’re still feeling tight around the toe box, despite wearing thick socks around the house and also using a shoe stretcher.
I understand that it’ll take a while for these to completely get broken into, but wondering if they’ll actually get wider and softer over time? 🥲 How long does it take for your Leona’s to stretch out?
I am thinking of going to fifa fan fest tomorrow for the USA vs Belgium game at 7pm. Never been! What time should I plan to arrive and any tips with parking?
I wanted to share my experience here and see if anyone has also been through something similar:
Flew into Boston yesterday after pilot warned us the whole ride would be bumpy due to a storm and wind gusts. What I didn’t know is HOW bad the winds would be! It was very grey and foggy the whole way down, and as we approached the runway, pilot did a what I know now as a “turn-around” and that scared that crap out of me. It felt like a rollercoaster to suddenly shoot back up. Ended up back in the air and according to our flight attendant, flew through “severe turbulence” again for another 30min before landing safely.
Being so fearful of turbulence, this experience made me feel a mixture of emotions. On one hand, it was terrifying have little control over what’s going on, but on the other, this experience was proof to show how skilled pilots are and how strong airplanes are.
Due to work, I have no choice but to fly frequently, and I want to give a big thank you to all pilots out there who bring us safely to our destinations.
