I went for a walk at 6 pm yesterday and it was hell on Earth. Specifically, because of the cars. Every avenue gets backed up and clogged; cars are blocking the crosswalks because they can't proceed but still pull up and oh god the honking. There are clearly more cars than the road can support, so what the fuck is honking going to accomplish? If they could move, they would. And where the hell is everyone even going since they are all going towards Flatbush seemingly?

And before I'm accused of being anti-car, I actually foolishly own one in this neighborhood too! But I only use it once every 2 weeks maybe.

This year it's being held on a Sunday and Monday, and I'm considering going for the first time. I see in the past people have recommended to arrive at least at 7-8 am to get a spot. Do you think Monday July 6th would be less crowded/chaotic? Still should get there early?
