This is my new Napoleonic Mameluke Saber I got from Kult of Athena. I wanted a scimitar in my arsenal for a long time, and now I have one. I am using it with a round shield for that purpose of learning Middle Eastern swordsmanship.
Okay, so the new DLC is an exciting event to look forward to, especially since the revolution civs include Livonia.
This changes everything because it sets the game back to the 15th century, as Livonia is basically the Teutonic Order, and thus makes you able to play out the Baltic Crusades and the Battle of Varna!
The Teutonic Order formed during the Third Crusade in the Levant and was later recognized by the Catholic Church as a military order. Their claim to fame, or infamy, was during the 13th century when they took part in the Crusades in the Baltic, which was more convenient for them, but just as cruel and vicious as the Crusades in the Mediterranean. They established territory in Prussia, absorbed the Livonia Sword Brethren into their ranks, and launched crusades against Poland, Novgorod and Lithuania for 2 centuries.
The order’s mighty red brick castles stood as an imposing sight for all who laid eyes on them, and can still be seen in Eastern Europe to this day.
I’m replaying AC Shadows and I’m hoping to redesign my hideout to look like a traditional samurai compound once Yasuke joins up. Any suggestions?
