sick fish?

Hi all, i posted not too long ago about my gold neons and how one of them had this weird bump. Ive had them for a few months shy of a year now, and ive never had any health issues.

We had a house fire in june, and their tank was severely affected. it was very hot and the water was completely filled with smoke. i was away but my best friend rehabbed them (she’s an extremely experienced fish keeper), so they all pulled through great.

The same fish with the bump just recently started showing some cloudiness and slight erratic behavior. hes eating completely fine, even saw a regular poop. all the other fish are fine, no spots, color change, or crazy behavior changes. i just started a low dosage of kanaplex with food in an isolation tank in case it was columnaris. anyone have any insight on what could be going on?

Parameters in main tank: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0-15 nitrate. Temp is steady around 72-74. Tank mates are 5 other gold neon tetras, a hillstream loach (soon to be upgraded), and a bunch of bladder snails.

Is my tetra sick?

Hi all,

Parameters: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 15 nitrate

I have 6 white neons in this tank. It’s 10 gallons, planted, 1 big sponge filter, and a small air stone. Ive had my tetras for almost a year now. 2 months ago I had a house fire and the fish tank was full of smokey water and debris, but the fish pulled through great and were being cared after by another fishkeeper friend. They were moved to their new tank about a month ago and have been great. The new tank is in the picture: the sponge filter, many plants, and hardware survived after being cleaned in established tank water.

I just noticed that my one neon was acting super skittish around feeding time tonight, but ate away still, I looked closer and she looks like she might have a lump forming on her belly. Im looking for best advice on if yall think it could be neon tetra disease, or something else treatable. Let me know, thanks and please ask any questions.

severe weather warnings

Hi! Im flying tomorrow from SAN to EWR. The flight here was great, i was extremely nervous but i did it!

Im now just nervous because of the weather coming into Newark. My hometown is close to Newark and posted about the increase in chances for severe weather near Newark/NY.

Should I be worried at all? I know they wont fly if its not safe but the long flight already makes me nervous, so the thought of having to make it longer cause of weather is making it worse. Any thoughts would be appreciated!! My flight leaves at 2 SAN time and lands 11 NY time.
