Hi, looking to transition over to a battery mower. Been hunting for used Hondas but not much luck, most are only being sold in my area if they are broken and need work. Not many of the new gas mowers these days are reliable and available.

Has there been any solid deals on the new super composite egos? I’m looking at the dual battery one for the extended run time. I’ll eventually hunt down deals for more batteries to help maintain my property in one go. Was interested in the 30 inch but can’t justify the 2k with tax when I could get a riding lawn mower for that price.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.

2026 Touring interior LED Quality?

Took home our brand new 2026 Touring and noticed one of the LED strips backlight was brighter. Hard to show in picture but the glare is like a small blue light shining out.

Anyone have something similar on there model? Looks like a plastic piece that diffuses the light behind it could be slide down just a little bit to the left.

First ever new car for my growing family, tempted to bring it back to the dealer for them to fix unless it’s a normal thing.

Appreciate any other odyssey owners input.

Thank you,

Which would you all buy considering the reliability and lack of availability? I personally prefer the non hydro series not HYA because of the select pace thumb controls. Both are solid buys with some strong options.

VKA for $500 - For sale by original owner, used for one mowing season. Looks like new. Has original receipt of purchase, still technically has warranty through Honda for next few years. Original receipt would help with claiming warranty on lifetime deck replacement if needed. Camshaft recall done, has proof of repair. Comes with bag unused.

VYA for $700 - Sold by third party seller, basically like new, less than a half of times used (looks new). No original receipt of purchase. Not sure if camshaft recall would need to be done. All features of VKA but has the roto stop and throttle control. No bag (would eventually need to purchase one).

If I could, I’d buy both.

Looking to buy a basically brand new, only started once HRX217HYA for $700 from a local guy but my concern is that my property has a lot of dips and uneven dirt/soil. My concern is if the plastic deck will crack with the bumpy ground I have.

Any issues with the deck breaking on very uneven soil?
