First Betta in 11 Years

11 years ago, I had a betta in a 2g with one of those replaceable carbon filters. I definitely didn't properly cycle the tank, I probably bought something that claimed to do so. The only thing I did do right was use water conditioner.. I had colored gravel, fake plants, etc. I think he only lasted a few months.

I've now been into the aquarium hobby for a year now with a 10g shrimp tank. I was getting the itch to start another tank, so I decided to do a 5g betta tank on my desk 🙂

I ordered him online, and I couldn't believe how beautiful he was in person! I am already so obsessed with him!

Looking forward to doing it right this time ❤️

He's from Tucky's Bettas 🙂

I'm looking to rehome a single Red-Tailed Rasbora. At least that's what I think he is. He was included in a batch of Endlers from a local shop, and he doesn't fit my current tank plans.

Full Disclosure: He is a "survivor" from a tank that recently had an internal parasite/bacterial outbreak that affected my endlers. He has remained 100% healthy, active, and symptomatic-free throughout, but he should be considered a potential asymptomatic carrier.

I just want him to get into a school where he can be happy! Thanks for looking.
