1973 Stock arriving at Acton Town with an open cab door for extra ventilation!

Having visited this station for the first time today, it’s genuinely rather cool how far you can see around this curve, gives an excellent view of trains approaching well in advance :)

It’s honestly really neat how Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 retains its old name on enamel signage and its roundel, even though it’s been over a decade since T1 was shut.

The echo made by trains moving through the Heathrow Express/Lizzie Line tunnels at Heathrow is very interesting - reminds me a bit of sci-fi films :)

As operational CVPIs continue to be retired in the USA, there's a good chance they'll end up overseas! Here's four from Sevierville, TN, now in the hands of an importer in the UK who buys them specifically to be registered, made UK road legal & sold to other enthusiasts :) (ft. Ford Explorer)
