I have been delivering for Instacart for a little over 6 years so I have seen the great, the ok, the meh, and the trash. Consistently though week after week the best part of my days ends up being the cute/curious/chaotic/random animals I come across on porches, deliveries, and the side of the road 🐱🐶🐔🦉🐄🦆🪿🦌

We have a senior dog (just turned 18) that seems to be struggling lately. She is having a hard time getting in and out of the pet door, climbing small sets of stairs, and has had occasional (2-3 times/week) issues with pooping inside her enclosure (she is an outside dog but has an area in the garage to sleep/cool off/warm up).

She still eats fine and jogs around the backyard. She also enjoys laying out in the sun under our trees for hours. There are mixed opinions in our household on what signs we should be looking for that her quality of life is too poor to justify keeping her around, i.e. when should we be making that very hard and painful decision to send her to doggy heaven? Any advice or experiences are appreciated!
