Its finally under 70 in CO!

Cooler air means I can finally wear some of these jackets.

MF Pacific Ranch Blouse, still super crisp and needs more wear.

PBJ 15ozBlack x Kakishibu "Extra Slub"

TS Jack in a super unique pattern that I cannot for the life of me remember.

Chippewa packer boots I revived off a cheap eBay purchase. Not sure if I like the thicker laces I picked out yet. (Before and After)

And of course I had to slide the MF Campus Jacket Ive been working on lately.

Mister Freedom Campus Jacket

So I had been kicking around the idea of picking up this jacket or a Ranch Blouse in Natural Veg Tan leather. I already have three other Ranch Blouses so I decided to go for the Campus Jacket. When MF announced the price increase was coming I pulled the trigger.

I followed the [Vintage Engineer Boots](https://vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com/p/mf.html?m=1) protocol, which was basically just sunning it without conditioner, wetting it down with a microfiber cloth every week or so, and then finally applying a conditioner of Pecard Antique Leather Dressing. I didnt take a great photo of the start of the sun tanning process, but it took a few days to get out of the awkward pink phase. I laid it outside in the Colorado sun for a few hours each day. I would keep track of how long it had been out and then come flip it for an equalish amount of time on the other side. I dont honestly remember how many days it was out. This is all about three weeks of progress but not sunning it every day. After the first week I tried to wear it as much as possible, in the car, around the house etc.

In MF's listing they say some jackets may come with a brand mark. I had actually called and asked if any jackets had one and if I could take a look ahead of time. I was told they discontinued this as many people didnt like it but they would try to see what they had available. When I first received the jacket I didnt think it had one, but as it got some color one appeared on the button hole side near the collar. Its not for everyone but I personally love the look of it!

Persimmon Dying

Im thinking about dying a veg tan natural jacket with some persimmon dye before throwing it out in the sun. Anyone have experience with this? I was able to find one fedora lounge post related to a belt. Probably a dumb idea but just think it could look sick.

Mister Freedom Pacific Californian Lot 64

Love these right out of the box. The color is just awesome, I had a pair of Gustins that were a similar color but much more prefer the fit and finish of these. 12 Oz so theyre a little bit lighter for summer. I wish they still had the patch on the pocket (RIP).

Initial cold soak done. 6'2", 205, size 36, they didn't shrink down much. I only soak cold for 20 min.

Mister Freedom Ranch Blouse (1 month)

"Midnight" denim colorway. One initial cold soak, it did shrink slightly.

I dont work a manual labor job, but I have been wearing it as much as humanly possible in this Colorado summer. Baseball and catch with the kids, weeding the yard, a road trip, a camping trip, chopping firewood, to and from the office in the car, in the office. Basically any time where there's a crap load of AC or in the evening after the sun goes down.

I'm not gentle with it, I take it on and off a lot. I rub against stuff. Most of the back arms and bottom chest seems to come from the car (armrest and seatbelt).

I took photos outside in the shade and in the direct sun. The creasing and fading is a lot less noticeable indoors and with the lights at the office.
