Certificate and Spousal?

Hello, we recently submitted my partner's Citizenship Certificate application. A few days later we found out the wait had jumped to 25 months, from the 11 it had been when we started the process of putting together documents.

My partner is currently American.

I am a Canadian citizen.

Spousal Sponsorship is 17 months wait at the moment. We are currently only engaged so the timeline probably wouldn't be any faster, and obviously it's much more limiting, he wouldn't be a citizen.

I'm wondering, is it worth still doing as well, in case the Certificate Application is rejected. I'm also wondering if there's any information regarding legal details of what would happen if we got accepted on both. Would it negate the limitations/obligations associated with Spousal Sponsorship if he was recognized as a Citizen through the Certificate Process?

Is there anywhere I can get information other than to pay a lawyer?

Thank you!

Edit: Comments seem to agree this isn't possible. Doubling up would cause issues. Thanks for the help.

Cosplay Makeup Input Pls 😊

Hey, I'm looking to Cosplay Invisible Woman in her Pine Recolour of the Debater skin. I'm not someone who frequently wears makeup but I've done it for special occasions. Looking at this skin, she has strong mascara/eye liner (I won't be doing false lashes) and what I'm guessing is sort of a smoky eye.

I'm wondering if anyone has any better terms for the look, or reference photos as to what they think it might look like on a human being.

I honestly might end up just skipping eye makeup since I wear glasses anyways, but I'm looking to do a test and see if I can get it to work and it feels okay for a day of wear. I'm putting a lot of effort into an exact copy of the outfit so I don't necessarily want to be lazy on the makeup. I do already own a lip colour that matches.

Thank you!

Cambridge Teaching?

I'm wondering what it is like teaching for the public board in Cambridge, Ontario. Also, what is it like in French immersion? I'm French qualified and certified Bilingual.

I'm not really sure where I want to end up long-term, and am exploring different possibilities.

Moissanite w/ Tanzanite side stones, and mini lab diamonds - from Oore

I got engaged in the winter time, but hadn't made a post here yet. I love this ring so much. This is the Briar Rose ring from Oore with set in yellow gold. It's so comfortable, the shimmer is beautiful, and I've loved every moment with it on my finger.
