Freyja and her bottlebrush!
Freyja and her bottlebrush!
Vitamin container, repurposed to garlic powder container, repurposed to q-tip holder! My family has a long history of reusing things because we can't bear to toss them and it's clearly passed to me.
The label in particular was so interesting. It was a paper surface, but foil underneath. Really did not want to come off. i wish the label was more complete so i could've read the full contents. It's so interesting to me how product packaging language has changed over the years.
As you may imagine, the plastic seal piece on the lid completely absorbed the garlic smell. Even after long soaks in baking soda and washing, and also trying a vinegar soak, the smell persisted. Q-tips don't need to be sealed up (and i don't want them smelling like garlic bread lol) so i left the seal off. Did i throw it away? Of course not. ๐ญ
allegedly it is still sterile!
i love her side profile. she is such a queen.
we've come a long way since October. Freyja still isn't a snuggler and i can hold her for only about a minute but she lets me rub her belly and it feels like such a privilege ๐ฅฒ
spouse and i had a stoner craving for hash browns so we split a bag of them between our breakfasts this weekend. along with tofu scramble, Beyond sausage, and toast ๐ค๐ป wake & bake & feast ๐คค
her arm looks too long for her body ๐น
i love her fluffy little butt ๐ญ
Her first trip to the woods! I think she really loves it. We were so stoked that she walked along the path with us. She followed Rin and even would come when we call her (not as readily as a golden retriever but you get it).
When we got back to the vehicle after a good hour of meandering along the path, she did NOT want to go back. Next time we are going to head out earlier so she can enjoy the woods to her heart's content!
took a photo of my spouse prepping cat food (chicken thighs) and realized i caught a heckin dangler Freyja photobomb in the background ๐ป
i really want to get my girl in for a grooming appointment especially now that her winter coat is dropping, but i am apprehensive after seeing some posts on here about groomers unexpectedly shaving cats and just otherwise not listening to instructions.....
i have friends with dogs who get groomed, but no friends with cats who get groomed, so i just have internet reviews to rely on which i feel can't really be trusted anyways.
can anyone recommend a great groomer in the SE area of Wisconsin who will do right by my bebe?? i'm on the south side of Ozaukee county, willing to drive a half hour for the right groomer i would say!
Freyja LOVES this cat tree. she will attack it and get all crazy like this sometimes. i was folding laundry this morning sitting on my bed and luckily had my phone nearby so i could finally catch some of this on video!
after she jumped onto the bed next to me (about a 5 - 6 foot distance lol) she tore ass running full speed up and down the hallway like 4 times before tackling her tree again.
i love my little insane furball ๐ญ
sound on so you can hear her yowling, lol
she was so curious and if i picked her up she would squirm so much because she wanted to be in the grass! ultimately we found a picnic table and she got the high ground to observe everything, as is her custom. she was watching the folks fishing, probably wondering what they were doing with their lure toys ๐น
