Every card show I’ve gone to, there are two types of vendors: the ones who genuinely love Pokémon and those that just want to make a buck no matter what.

At my last show, I gave my wife my M Gengar EX so that she could trade it for the Charizard VSTAR Promo + cash. One vendor offered her $65 in trade for the Gengar, $30 less than what he was asking for the Zard. They didn’t know anything about the Gengar, showed very little interest other than what they said it was worth.

The next vendor talked about how much he loved that Gengar AND how cool the Charizard is. He gave her the Zard + cash.

Screw these vendors who don’t give a fuck about the hobby.

I used the cash to buy her first binder, a nice top loader binder.

I recently filed a warranty claim with Best Buy on my switch 2 joycons. When the replacement joycons arrived, they included an envelope to send back the broken controllers for recycling.

My question is: do I have to send back the broken controllers? They still work kind of OK as the issue is intermittent.

What would happen if I just don’t send them in?
