New enclosure before and after!

Upgraded from bin(roughly 500 sq ft) to wooden enclosure (980 sqft!!!)!!! She has so much more room! I am so happy

Could use advice! Please let me know if everything looks safe! And if the design is practical/functional

I have since moved the small white water bowl to the top of the multi chamber hide and added bedding to the sides of the small chamber hide in the front so if she jumps down it is less than 1/2 inch fall. I moved her food bowl down as well.

Thank you!

Hi! Wooden platform diy/alternatives?

Hello! I am trying to not support Amazon!! It has been difficult to find wooden platforms for my hamster’s wheel and accessories.

What have you guys used or made instead of purchasing from big stores/websites??

How could I diy one? I have bamboo cutting boards that are a great size for a platform but I am not sure how to attach the dowels?? I’ve also used metal jars and such but my hamster cannot burrow underneath her wheel because of it. I really want her to feel comfortable and be able to burrow where she wants to. Help!

Before and after! Rehoming + tips?

Before & After! Rehoming + tips!?

Hello! Currently trying to rehome two of the cutest senior dwarfs ever! The first photo is their enclosure at their previous owners and the second photo is their new temporary setup at my home! + poor quality photos of them!!<3 I am so relieved they are safe and comfortable now, they seem to be acclimating super well in their new spaces! (two separate enclosures but they’re practically identical so I’ve only attached one photo!)

Located in the Broward county, FL area if you or anyone you know is an experienced hammy lover <3 contact me about these two!

Any tips on their new homes? I need to buy another hideout for each of them..I was thinking of the coconut shell ones that are more enclosed so they feel more sheltered! As well as more toys/enrichment!

The grey/black one is Monti The beige one with boba balls for eyes is Ramona!! Monti loves to eat and dig in their sandbox!! Ramona can run all day long and loves their fresh fruit snacks!

Need to rehome two(!!) dwarf hamsters living on a bookshelf!!!

Even looking at these photos I’m just appalled they’ve made it this far. They’re around two years old. I believe one is a boy and the smaller one is a girl but there has been no signs of a pregnancy so I’m not sure. I would take them in myself but I lack the space, time, & funds to properly give them a better living situation. My heart is actually aching going into work and seeing them living together in this small cage on a random bookshelf like this. I’m being emotional but seriously I need help finding them a better home to live out the rest of their lives. Located in Broward County Serious inquiries only Will need to show proof of healthy and safe living conditions & proper knowledge and experience!
