My collection of screen accurate props
There's only 5 of them, but they're fun little things that are actually usable, several of which I use daily.
Stelton salt & pepper shakers, TOS
Alessi II Conico kettle, TNG
Bodum Chambord sugar bowl, VOY
*Stelton EM77 pitcher, VOY
Bodum Bistro cup, TNG
The TOS "medical scanners", I searched thrift and antique stores for literally years for these as a fun little personal treasure hunt. But after probably 4 years of that, I caved and bought them online.
I've had this for a couple years now and never used it, it was more a beautiful object on my shelf... until recently I moved to a new place that had an induction stove top and I was scrambling to get not only new pots but also needed an electric kettle. It saved the day and I could still have tea!
Why was Janeway drinking out of this thing? We may never know.
This is my only brand new purchase, and not technically screen accurate. I needed an electric kettle, and none were used on Trek (that I'm aware of, let me know if there was!), but Stelton did have an electric version of the EM77.
The Picard tea cups. I have a bunch of these now, just found 4 of them for .50 cents a piece last week!
I'm looking to expand into furniture, maybe a chair (I did just buy an 80s Arflex chair soley because it looks like something straight out of TNG) but that gets expensive. I'm most interested in TOS and TNG, but VOY and DS9 are good, too.
Any suggestions of items I should look for next are welcome! Anyone have favorites to share?
