Repost due to error - Long shot, but anyone looking to trade sizes...?

I have a pair of Tabi Footwear brand black shoes in a size 39 (US women's 8) but I need a 40. Anyone interested in trading by chance? They are in great condition, only worn indoors. I love them but I should have read more reviews on sizing.

Modifying/painting figures?

Does anyone have any experience or tips on how to modify and paint Peach Riot figures? Have you done anything to yours? I'm looking to do a full transformation to one of them.

In the meantime, I've been trying to make a different hat for Frankie Diva. This was my proof-of-concept but I've liked it so much I've just left it that way (up until today, I started making a new one with better clay). I want to make it look more like a knitted cat ear beanie.

Thanks!

How did you sibling relationship fall apart?

I went from being very close to my sister, to her not speaking to me for going on 9 months. She's managed to cut every single friend she ever had out of her life, and I guess she ran out of friends

How did you relationship with a close sibling (or possibly cousin) go from built-in-best-friend to not speaking or even hate each other?

And did you ever recover from it?

I'm talking of family members relativly close in age to yourself that you grew up with and will continue to see or have to interact with at gatherings. (friendship breakups when someone was like a sibling to you can be just as hard, but that's not what I'm getting at here)

I went from being very close to my sister, to her not speaking to me for 6 months and counting. She's managed to cut every single friend she ever had out of her life, and I guess she ran out of friends 🙃

And cheers to you who are close with your siblings! I have some bonus siblings through marriage now :)

My collection of screen accurate props

There's only 5 of them, but they're fun little things that are actually usable, several of which I use daily.

  1. Stelton salt & pepper shakers, TOS

  2. Alessi II Conico kettle, TNG

  3. Bodum Chambord sugar bowl, VOY

  4. *Stelton EM77 pitcher, VOY

  5. Bodum Bistro cup, TNG

  6. The TOS "medical scanners", I searched thrift and antique stores for literally years for these as a fun little personal treasure hunt. But after probably 4 years of that, I caved and bought them online.

  7. I've had this for a couple years now and never used it, it was more a beautiful object on my shelf... until recently I moved to a new place that had an induction stove top and I was scrambling to get not only new pots but also needed an electric kettle. It saved the day and I could still have tea!

  8. Why was Janeway drinking out of this thing? We may never know.

  9. This is my only brand new purchase, and not technically screen accurate. I needed an electric kettle, and none were used on Trek (that I'm aware of, let me know if there was!), but Stelton did have an electric version of the EM77.

  10. The Picard tea cups. I have a bunch of these now, just found 4 of them for .50 cents a piece last week!

I'm looking to expand into furniture, maybe a chair (I did just buy an 80s Arflex chair soley because it looks like something straight out of TNG) but that gets expensive. I'm most interested in TOS and TNG, but VOY and DS9 are good, too.

Any suggestions of items I should look for next are welcome! Anyone have favorites to share?
